Really hope some one buys them soon before they go completely - HMV need some high street competition.0 -
So with the new store closures, does this mean prices reduced to clear all stock, or will they just move the stock to other stores?!
Just wondering seeing as I work in Watford..... and fancy a quick shopping trip if it's cheap!0 -
Well they really did mean immediate!!!
I was at the Watford store by 12.50 and it had long since closed it's shutters. The few staff were packaging stuff up to send elsewhere.
Can't say I'm particularly upset - rarely did I buy anything from them anyway.0 -

With the first round of closures, they transferred stock to other stores.. they didn't have "closing down sales"0 -
Mine has survived the closures so far but the whole "immediate closures" is very strange isn't it. Hope mine isn't in the next lot go to as to be fair I've used Zavvi quite a lot particularly for books.0

the stock is being redistributed to other stores. thankfully mines is still open!0

Mines still open but it isn't half a load of crap.
£11 for a Blu-Ray
£269 for a 80gb PS3
No X360's
20% of all game software
30% of all CD's
Seems good but there prices are stupidly high anyway.
360 games are about £39.99 and then take the 20% off. Some games are £19.99 which includes the 20% discount
Mirrors edge was £32 including discount, however over the road at Game it was selling for £19.99 not including student discount...
No wonder they've got into administration...idiotsCashback

I was considering picking up "Bully" on the 360 from Zavvi today, before I discovered it was closed.
It was £20 or £25 (depending on which one you picked off the shelf) and then 20%.
Am actually glad I didn't get to buy it as it's only £9.99 at Play!!0
