Yes it was on the BBC site, it just surprises me the speed of the closures.

What difference does that make ?0 -
Apparently the Leicester branch has empty shelves, but today the Nottingham branch was full of stock, with small reductions.0

Exactly the same with the Southend store. HMV 100 yards away in a useless location will probably close.maxtweenie wrote: »HMV already have a store in Peterborough no more than 100 yards from the Zavvi, and are the only real competition to Zavvi. I don't think that they have the foresight to make one a specialist shop and the other the major store, saying that the same group still believes that the 2 waterstones can be open a 5 min walk apart.0 -

I can't see how Waterstones make any money on either store with their prices. On another note, has anyone seen the TV advert for Virgin's 25th anniversary? It shows a lot of their various business identities over the years, but doesn't show Virgin Megastores. It does show Our Price Records though lol.0 -
I'm assuming the Stockton on Tees store is actually the one at Teesside Park (technically Thornaby), as we don't have a Zavvi in Stockton. When will the takeover take place?I'm an MSE winner!
2x tickets to the o2 Wireless Festival :j
Summer Sports Set - trampoline, swingball and paddling pool worth £100 :T0 -

Yeah it is the Teesside park one and makes sense as one for a takeover as its a good position. My closest too so I'm pleased we're not loosing that kind of store completely.0
