How long are zavvi open for, everyone gets paid end of th emonth, I would like to buy some stuff if they still survive, but its only 20% off stuff, hope it increases?

Looking at the Zavvi site it appears that the ones HMV are due to take over have already gone from their network. Does anyone know if this is the case? Have those stores already become HMV stores?

yes they officially became hmv stores 2 from the moment of announcement

It's 25% off in the York store now. A lot of their stock is old rubbish though. I'm tempted by the Only Fools and Horses Boxset which is now £30 but nothing else seemed worth buying.
