Think all the courts are must be mega busy with BR, we were number 757! unbelievable really! Well Im really enjoying my stress free life already! No worrying about the business or bill payments, have spoken breifly to OR and seems all is well although do have to have 2 seperate interviews due to both being self employed in different professions. She did say we could sit in on each others interviews though so I'm feeling remarkably relaxed at the minute! Which I didnt expect only 3 days after BR!
Heres to a brand new start!!;)
Court date March 6th!:j 1 week after BR and feeling pretty good!:j0 -

757??!! Thats about 14 a day since beginning of year!! Thats the highest Ive heard so far. Well done for going through it - sounds positive:):j Goodbye debt - Hello sanity! :j0 -
[/quote]I asked the woman if they'd been busy and she told me that I was the 422nd BR to go through Norwich County Court this year  Blimey - I was no. 258 and I thought that was a lot! thats nearly 5 a day in Stoke - 8 a day in Norwich then (over 52 working days so far this year). Seems loads are doing it.
Maybe it was nerves but I nearly laughed when the "usher" said that I should call the judge "Sir", especially as when I saw him for the first time, I thought he looked a lot like Sir Ian McKellen (:rotfl: ) At least you didnt call him 'Gandalf'!!:)
Really glad it went well and smoothly for you - we can get on with the rest of our lives now - just the OR stuff to go through - but Im not worried at all about that - Im not gonna try to sidestep anything Im asked - Ive been a fool and quite happy to admit it.
Well done again tiggypig :j :j :j
That is an amazing number, I did think that I would be going to Norwich at first but my address is actually under Bury St Edmunds, so I was only number 53. I can't believe that 422 and then 757 too!:eek:0 -
hey YM, hope your day comes quickly!!!!! You have been so supportive i feel like i should help you through it, even though you are the fountain of knowledge and im just a puddle lol.
Jelly, i know what you mean, hopefully the next stage will be less painful and the OR meetings will go with a breeze.
Good luck to everyone who is still waiting for their dates in March

Congrats puzzledbubbles. Missed your post last night so belated Congrats
Dont know about fountain of Knowledge as I have had a hissy fit trying to print out forms and running out of Ink . Mind you after running around the computer for a bit ( as if that would magic some ink into the printer :rotfl:) the first place I came for help was this board.
God knows what I would do without everyone one here :T

Afternoon all,
Just thought I'd post as this thread seems to have sunk to Page 3 all of a sudden!
Anyhow, after being declared BR yesterday I was awaiting the call from the OR. They tried me a couple of times this morning but I was at work until 1pm. I answered my phone and asked if they would call me at 3pm so that I was at home.
So, 3pm came and a very nice man called me to discuss my papers. He asked if there were any mistakes on the BO I had been given and then asked a couple of questions about my petition. It was a little nerve racking as although I had the answers right in front of me, I still stumbled over a few and did feel at times like saying "for goodness sake, you've got the papers, you can see the answer - aaaagggggh"
All in all it wasn't too bad really and as I have no car or house and nothing else of value they can take, the conversation only lasted 20 mins. He said that he would put some papers in the post for me to sign, draft a letter ready to go out to all my creditors and the official notices for the newspapers but as it stands, I don't have to do anything more for the time being. He also told me that obviously I will still receive calls/letters from my creditors over the next three/four weeks but to ignore the phonecalls and if I receive any letters stating my creditors are sending me to a debt collection company to forward it to them and they will deal with the matter. In the event that I do answer a call, then he just advised me to give my BO number to them and say that the OR will be in contact shortly.
It'll be interesting to hear how jellygirl and puzzledbubbles (sorry if that's slightly wrong) get on with their OR interviews

Hey Tiggy,
Glad that your interview went so well!!!! Well done for not loosing your temper, sometimes i think they just want us to read things back to them so that they check we are all on the same page lol.

Thanks YM
Have you tried downloading it at home, saving it as a pdf (you can click the save thingy and save a copy) and then emailing it to yourself at work? Thats what i did, just watch the pages, make sure its set to landscape printing so that you get the pages all the right way around.
HTH
and ooooooooo good luck to you on the 17th - your day is nearly here :T :T
