Never seen them live but Thom York has an amazing voice. Never been to Glastonbury but am planning to go next year at the ripe old age of 47 as it is the 40th anniversary and they are are rumored to have an act from each of the last 40 years.

    The mind boggles :D

    Hey Everyone,

    :T :T Congrats Jelly Girl and Tiggy Pig:T :T

I am happy to say i can make it a full set for today!!! Was declared bankrupt at 9:20 this morning!!!!!

Got to the court at 8:30 and waited for the counter to be free, then got called up, i must have looked a right state and nearly had tears on the bus on the way over so the first thing the lady said was dont worry lol.

Went through the forms and swore - felt very odd doing it while the other people were in ear shot and i said the words wrong which made me get all flustered again but it was fine.

Then sat and waited until 9:15 - i was one of 4 this morning in my court - the two courts (Gloucester and Cheltenham) operate out of the same office and there were two of us from each dept. Then i was asked to go upstairs to see the judge, again i must have looked like a rabbit in headlights because the lady who took me up in the lift asked me several times if i was ok lol. Then the usher said she would take my papers straight through, about 2 seconds later she walked back through the door and said all fine, please come back downstairs to speak to the OR.

Sat in the waiting room til 10:15, spoke to the OR and then left the court at 10:20.

I am a bit numb, not sure what to do with myself, i know i can draw a big fat line under the last 3 years now, but i dont want to be happy because its a really serious thing and the events leading to this havent been happy ones at all. But i dont want to be sad because now i can start my life again.

    All very odd lol

Thank you for all of the good wishes and the luck, popping over to the arms now to raid the optics lol

Congrats to you puzzledbubbles!!!:) I thought about you this morning whilst I was getting myself ready for court - wondered if you got the bus in time - your court sesh was over really quickly - Im surprised that you did the paperwork and swore with other members of the public there - I was seen in an interview room privately - I guess the courts do it differently through out the country. I know what you mean about being numb - I am relieved and glad that I have done it (not that I had any choice but to leg it to the greek islands or something) - I too see it as very serious, which I think is a good thing as I wont be wanting to get anywhere near a situation like that again.

Im going to keep in touch with this forum regularly - I think it may still be a rollercoaster of emotions for a while - its only been a few hours and still sinking in. But lets be easy on ourselves and a pat on the back for facing our problems and having the courage to deal with them - its character building stuff no doubt.

Keep your chin up - well done for today - Ive got a nice bottle of wine which Im opening in the Inn shortly - youre welcome to join me for a glass or three...ten...hic..!
