Well had my OR interview today,well if you can call it that really. I spoke with a very nice chap, he called me on my mobile this morning at work. He asked if I had 5 minutes to spare. I said yes thinking that we would just be arranging another date to have the full interview. He said he had read through my statement of affairs, and it all seemed in order. The reason I had given for going bankrupt was valid and no problem. The only thing he could pick up was our life ins policy, the SAYE scheme I pay into at work which has only been running since Sept 08 so only worth about £150 tops and the two bank accounts that I have for my children. That was it!!! He asked if I had any other assets at all, which I don't. After all that he said that I would not require an interview in person and that he could decide today that I should be discharged in 6 months no problem. My file should be gathering dust on his desk the next time we spoke. He is writing to me today with the details and he then went through the restrictions I faced as a bankrupt. The entire call lasted 10 mins roughly, 15 tops.:eek:

I was really shocked, I was quite worried about the call, and expected it take ages as everyone says but that was it. Really rather strange, but at the same time whoo hoo. This is the new start for me.

Hi guys i forgot to come back and post although i started a new thread. I was declared bankrupt at 10am on 4th March 2009. Just awaiting my OR interview now )
