My mum broke wind, very loudly, at the end of her Tai Chi class one week! They were standing up after doing the relaxation but and she let rip before she could stop herself!

She was mortified but said it was much worse because nobody said a word, or even batted an eyelid, but she knew they all knew it was her.

Apparently, she got to the door by following the walls and pretending to read all the notices as she was too embarrassed to face anyone!

This was years ago but we still bring it up at get togethers, as you do! :D

I know I have a terrible, and childish, sense of humour but I find these things very funny!

I thought everybody did that in yoga/martial arts classes at some point? Isn't it notorious, with all the weird angles and postures moving the intestines around? (It's a subject of huge amusement at OH's class...) Maybe that's why no-one turned a hair: they'd all done it before.

Don't give it another thought. Every single mum at the school gates will have suffered similar. Forget it.

I actually prefer the value ones to many of the "expensive" ones, because there is something in some of them that used to give me "nappy rash" and it stung like mad:o - especially Allways - OUCH!

Fortunately, I don't have that problem now - but I doubt there are many women who have not been there at some time in their life.

My most embarassing incident was trying to get out of a little sports car with bucket seats wearing a pencil skirt. It was hot weather, the seat had got hot and the material of my skirt would not slide against it so that I could twist both legs out smoothly, and as I put one foot to the floor - the skirt ripped straight up the back seam:eek: , since I always wore stockings not tights I caused quite an uproar of whistles in the car park:D .

I was doing a first aid course for work. I was lying on the floor and one of my work colleagues had to put me in the recovery position. When she moved my knee up I farted. It just came out. I had no control over it, I laughed with her but I was mortified. :o

    Probably.

My friend does yoga and I remember her saying she couldn't eat beans the day before or she'd be trumping her way through the class!

I've never been to one and it's probably just as well as, like I said, I find these things amusing! I am not the person to be with in an embarrassing situation as nerves make me laugh all the more!

When I read threads like this, I start to wonder why we feel we are the only woman in the world these 'problems' have happened to? Do we just not talk about it enough in RL?
