Not condoning anyone taking advantage just that it's possible to be put on the over 60's register without knowledge!
i second this. this happened to my card. if i go to the advantage card machine my birthday is correct. it's to do with what barcode the SAs scan in. i have contacted customer services 3 times about this problem. I am on advantage card number 4. everytime it gets sent out i still have the over 60s discount. the store cant overwrite the barcode - i have tried that too. they also say they are not allowed to change your personal details. luckily i frequent a couple of regular stores who know me and understand the problem and have told me if CS can't sort it out just to give up and use the card!0 -

Lima-India - that photo is impressive! Or depressing?!
Re buying stuff off .com at full price and taking it back into store for refund. You would have to print off your .com order page as well as the delivery note to show the price you had paid. SAs won't be obliged to sell the goods back to you at 75%, only to refund you what you paid originally. But I'm sure most would sell back but just a warning.0 -
Just a word of warning (may have been posted before, but a bit pushed for time, so apologies if so!)......
P & P vanity case (cream coloured) contains 250 extra points on No7- valid 01.01.09- 31.03.09
Had a sneaky feeling the P&P set would have something in so performed a careful operation to remove the sticky tape holding the outer card and broke the plastic holdtheziptogethery bit.... good job I did, as the two I've got will be given to Mum and MIL for birthdays after the 31.3.09!
SO..... check your gift packages, use the extra points don't give the game away as to how much we've saved!
Nighty night!

Evening all.........
Oh what a difference 24 hours can make last night we were all buzzing at this time.....now pfffttttt......................
Anyways, onwards and upwards, we shall all be prepared for the next 75% sale.
1. Loaded bank/paypal accounts
2. Food cupboards well stocked
3. Nice fleece or hot water bottle
4. Fully charged laptop
5. Automatic 75% alert would be fantastic
And most of all - our sense of humour!!!
I know it was a pants night for most of us, I got my order through for it to be cancelledAll my stores had been vulturised (new word??) so I've got nil nada zilch. I am very disappointed.
My basket contained all toys for my brood. If I had of got them I was sorted for ALL their next birthdays and 80% of Christmas - all for a fraction of the cost. I was sooo excited & thrilled because of the current "climate" so to speak, goodness what lies ahead for us all in the next year
Anyway a whole year of new "glitches" and bargins to look forward too and by the time 2010's 75% comes around we will all be experts :T :T0 -

I apolgise if I have jumped the gun. I dont want to offend anyone and I know that Its possible for the sitation to work in reverse as well, as I kept losing the discount in the past. I dont know individual circumstances, but would advise caution what is posted on the board.
I had not realised that there was an over 60's part of the card. I have been in the HC for many years, so do know what the application form looks like now . I assumed there was just one health club~ What goes around comes around ~0
