    Regarding the lost bunny

Have tried the bus company, (actually waited outside for an hour for the same bus to come back arounde again too!!)have tried ringing boots, thinking about ebay,is there any other board i could put this on,do you think?

Sorry, don't think I have a useful suggestion to make. Just wanted to sympathise with you!!:( My son has a favourite duck which it would be devastating if he lost. Ebay sounds like a good idea. Hope you have some luck. Let us know!

    Hi

I go to the St Albans store sometimes as I work there. Didn't go in there today as I wasn't working- went to Luton instead.

I think the last time i went there was on 2nd Jan.

Thanks for the reply. :T I thought they'd be more peeps that go there as both London Colney and St. Albans are stripped bare when there are glitches.

Ahh, well. Will have to wait until the weekend to see if there's anything left.

Good luck everyone with your orders.

if the website ever works again i might try order & collect as there are several stores near me that offer this
has anyone has any experience of this please ?
If you ever do get an order through  collect in store works quite well. If you fill in you mobile number they will text you when your order has arrived in store. Then you go to the photo counter with your confirmation email to pick it up. Last time, mine took 4 days. hth

Does anyone know if I can order the stuff I've got in my basket at full price and then take it back to a store? And then possibly ask them to scan it and see what price it is on their system? Would it be different? Could I buy it back? Anyone know?

Evenin all - anyone one on here shop anywhere in Kent apart from Ramsgate and Bluewater, please?
Was wondering whether it would be worth visiting Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks or Tonbridge branches, or anywhere else in that area?
    TIA Neffy xx

Just wanted to add before I doze off that I ventured over to BROUGHTON this evening and it is totally EMPTY!! So any North West bootsers....I really wouldn't bother going there! LOL
I walked out with one No 7 nail varnish got with a blinkie. :rotfl:

Anyone know whether Bromborough is empty? What about Wrexham?

Bromborough emptying very fast at 2pm. I did get some things that will do for gifts throughout the year, but no No7 or gift sets left. In fact, by the time I'd paid there was mostly crackers and wrapping paper....

If I get the 4 R&M cream vanity cases I have ordered, that is exactly what I intend doing.

I had an FCUK bag which I had paid £40 for ages ago. Having paid for it, the nice SA told me it was going to be an OOTW, but she did not know when (I did post this at the time). Anyway, I kept it together with the receipt. When I went to Borehamwood on Saturday 27 December, I took it back for a refund. When the SA told me it had gone down to £20 (I did know this obviously), I asked if I could buy it back. She was unsure and went to ask her manager. The manager came back and said she was not prepared to do this. I could only have a refund for the full price. I was not in the mood to challenge her and get her to ring HO (even though I knew she was wrong). I just smiled sweetly and said it was not a problem, I would take it to another store. That afternoon, the manager in Watford, Waterfields, gave me a refund and allowed me to buy it back at the sale price.
  • Just to play Devils Advocate, is it legal for Boots to now be selling items that were 75% off back at full price, surely they should either completly freeze their website (take no more orders) or remove any items from website that were in the sale. Especially if they continue to sell them instore at the reduced prices, anyone know much about retail law ? Martin perhaps ??
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

I notice that some people are receiving the over 60 discount when they are clearly not entitled to it. This is similar to people claiming for babies in the parenting club that they do not have. Its not acceptable neither. People have lost their cards and all their points for less.

Its an abuse of the priveliges that Boots give us, please dont spoil it for extra points or extra discounts. To sign up for the health club you need to give your d.o.b. There is no seperate HC for over 60's it's all the same one.

The extra 10% does not kick in until you reach your 60'th birthday. It's automatic, so unless someone put the wrong birthdate down, it does not happen.

So Many posts, so little time. I agree that we should contact Boots to complain, but what is the best route???

Their old link Contact us just comes up with an error message when we click send. The email address I used to use up until recently did generate an electronic response, then a real response. Now the electronic response is this: which is not on at all. (Pease see below in BOLD) So we email them, and they email us and ask us to ring them, to pay to compain :confused:
