My order also says 'we have received your order' i got my confirmation email at 3.05am, i think we shud be fine, some1 in a previous post said that they spoke to cs and they said if u got ur email then its fine. (i hope!)

I was at the metro centre for 9.30 opening this morning and shelves were pretty full, managed 5 bags of goodies. Off-loaded these at the car, had a bite to eat, then just popped back to boots to have a look to see if anything else had been put out. It was about about 1pm and the shelves were practically bare, the only things they were bringing out and re-stocking with were christmas paper.

Thanks to this website:beer: I got loads of lovely bargains in the 75% off sale,I had forgotton about the sale untill I came across it on here last night:T I got so many bargains about 26,and spent about £40 odd pds and used boots discount card and came out with about £200 pds + worth of goodies.

My son 39 lightened my load as soon as I got home,I said hey they are next years prezzies,but he took them now lol,so much for my saving money,but hees happy anyway with gifts.

I have just seen that the St Tropez set is available on line. Why don't you order 2 at the full price, have them delivered to store. Then when you go to pick them up, ask if you can return them, and then buy them back at the store's current selling price. Just a thought.

First we had Pinkies/ £5 off No7, vouchers, then blueys, then bluey2 (sounds like a film sequel!). These are the names which have been given to the money off vouchers given out in boots stores, by regular forum users.

Now we have the new No7 voucher, that should be a pinkie, but its not pink, the background print is blue.
So sandrascarlet came up with blinkeys, (bluey and pinkie, became...blinkey). So the name stuck....
...well madamme scarlet is a national treasure on the boots forum.:)

All you need is a degree in boots forum language and all will become clear.:)

i was there at 10 with my DD and it was manic!!! i got 4 bags full though so happy...although the 1 thing i really wanted had all gone....the artist collection.....got one later tho in a little local store..DD happy as well as toys for her 3 year old all sorted for next xmas...well apart from the iggle piggle night light...well you cant have everything can you.

I'm from York and have read all the posts from today but none about York. I've been 'Bootsing' for a couple of years now but only very recently discovered this thread - wicked to find so many like minded people!! Anyway last year I was waiting all week for the 75% off in store and missed it stumbling in for my usual check of the big boots on my lunch hour however, there was loads of stuff left then!! I remember having it all split into £5 lots cos pink no 7 vouchers on at the time and people in the queue going mental!!

Anyway thanks to you lovely people on here i was ready this morning and outside the big one around half 8 - there was a bit of stuff then but no No 7, S + G or P and P. Rubbish really - i got a few bits but lots of people with trolleys full. The No 7 lady was lovely saying i should split my purchases and allowed Blinkies and 250 point vouchers on the reduced stuff!! I think this is because its reduced on the SEL's - 3 for 2 as well!! They had loads of reduced No7!! Then at 9am I went to the little one by Fenwicks and got a few bits of clearance, saw a lady returning things bought at 50% and asking to buy them back at 75% which they allowed. There were some R and M cases that were £50 - had them in the big one too first thing - wish i had got one - so indecisive!! Got a party puse No7 thing at the top one and so glad given your post i didn't venture out to Monks Cross. Went back to the big one to get my lunch around 1pm and there was absolutely nothing - swarm of locusts been through i think!!

I've got a bit of time off in the morning 1st thing so will post if any new stuff anywhere.

Hope you all get your .com stuff - very poor show from MrB this time - at least the last 2 years the site worked and it just let you look at items that were in stock!! Bring that back i say - why fix what isn't broken!!!

Lets hope he sorts it out soon and gives us a nice glitch to compensate!!
