best bargain had to be in basingstoke - I got a mini brag book for 18p :j now I feel like a proper bootser :D

Were they the silver ones that were £2.99? I looked at those and decided that I had enough at home :)

Another great bargain (just remembered) are the 2009 self laminating calendars priced at £6.99 but go through for 41p and the self laminating cards that are priced at ?4.99 but go through for 30P :j .

I've thought about this too, how can their online system suck so badly? It's insane. Sites like Tesco, Sainsbury, Amazon all let you amend and cancel orders, so why can't Boots? It's not some small little company after all.
And they've recently spent a fortune on upgrading their IT systems - was it something like £100m?

I hope Mr B kept his receipt! :p

Yep, I think that must have been why 2 x SAs got six trolleys from M & S for the "woman who'd driven 80 miles for the sale and has a large family".

Either market traders, professional ebayers, or plain Greedy Bi(a)tches!
Of course, if everyone's flogging it on ebay, the market will be completely saturated, so sellers will be stuck with unwanted stuff. Some of those toiletries boxsets are very heavy - I wouldn't like to pay ebay postage on them.

  • My .com order from 3:04am last night is now despatched too, according to an email I just received. So I'm thinking there's hope for you if you have a confirmation email and/or if your Orders History is showing as 'Order is being processed' as this is what I had.

That said, haven't actually got the stuff in my hands yet, so we shall see, but I'm much more optimistic now :)

    Hi

Good news and I hope this gives extra hope to some others who 'kept at it' with .com - my order has now been dispatced - all of it. I didn't get my order through until 13:36 (1.36pm). I did opt for next day delivery and paid the extra £5.38 but I know some others did this as well.

    Fingers crossed for you all
