Sorry if this is a daft question but on the 342 No7 offer, can you use 3 blinkies? Or is just against the 2 products that you are charged for?
    Thanks!

Think it is only "one per transaction". So if you for the 3 for 2 You can only use one i am afraid.

Just one - per transaction.... unfortunately. So you have to choose, either £5 off each item... or 3-4-2 and 1 x £5 off. It depends what you're buying, but it's worth doing the maths ;)

I was one of the lucky ones (so I thought  ) that got an order through at 3.04am yesterday and received a confirmation. I also got another small one through at 2.14pm for the bits I couldnt get instore. However I havent a clue what Mr B is up to, as the 1st order says "We have received your order", but the 2nd says "Your order is being processed". Wouldnt most companies process orders in the order they are received?

I will be really annoyed if I dont get the 1st order, as quite a few of the bits were available instore yesterday, but of course they will all be gone now if I tried to get them.

yes same as me i placed an order online about 3.15am and i have just checked and it "says your order is being processed" i will be annoyed if i dont get it because i could of got some of the things in store yesterday but didnt as i thought i had got them in my online order

My order has been dispatched...I got an email this morning. I placed the order at 3.05 am yesterday morning.

I think any orders that went through in the early part of the sale with minimal or no freezing/error messages should be pretty safe and will be dispatched quickly. Especially as the picking warehouse staff must be all standing around with very little to do given .com is down. And of course things won't be selling out.

Small consolation to these that didn't get their orders into the system before the site rolled over and died, of course, but at least it's not like everyone else on the planet can still get in and buy up all the stock.

Incidentally I'm convinced that part of the problem was the multiple reservation in basket thingie. Everyone (but me) seemed to be after S&G and P&P sets and were doing things like put 99 into their basket to keep an eye on stock. The stock update mechanism seems to be the Achilles heel of .com and it's very possible that if you refreshed a basket with 99 S&G sets in it then .com would not just update that to say 60 in stock, it would look around at all the other baskets with 99 S&G sets too and just have a hysterical fit. And then all the other baskets would freeze too. And with everyone trying frantically to get through check out and the stock going out of baskets during this bottleneck was causing more errors. Etc.

Just a thought and maybe not a correct one but it does seem from reading through here that the folk that got their orders through without trouble in the first few hours when .com was still up were the folk (like me) who had a small number of less popular items in their basket, in multiples of ones and twos. So there was no restocking conflict and it went through checkout smoothly. Of course .com should be set up for the kind of traffic that should have been expected yesterday! But....
    Val.
