Under 2kg the Royal Mail has it, unless you're sending such serious volumes that you're viable for someone like tnt mail.

Are the Myhermes prices inclusive of VAT, or VAT ontop?
  • Yep includes VAT.

I can't get Royal Mail to beat the £3.99 up to 2Kg. Best they do is £4.41?

Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Uniform Washer
Collect+ is £3.99 up to 10kg but you need to collect/drop off at a shop

Not sure about Hermes, they are very unreliable around here, i tried 4 times to get a collection for Grattan recently, they are just housewives delivering part time

    I've been Money Tipped!
Which courier do Parcel monkey use for UK?

I like to drop off at DHL depot rather than wait in, so wondered if I can get cheaper Monkey price whilst still dropping off.

I've noticed they use local agents, but here (South Norfolk) they haven't failed to arrive to pick-up once (so far (about 10 times now)) and my recipients get the parcels quickly. I had some problems with the Interparcel website which is why I started looking around.

Actually not a delivery problem. It was the website itself, wanted to book in for the day after a bank holiday and it wouldn't allow it. So started surfing and found Hermes and haven't gone back as they are cheaper and so far so good :)
  • Can anoyone help me? I still can't find a courier for less than £20 for my item...I'm a cheapskate and only want to pay £10-£15 :D

Its 110x55x55cm and 12kg from and to mainland UK

Having no luck at the moment...parcel monkey are about the cheapest at just over £20

Problem is that most standard parcel network hubs have a maximum length of 1m, and so if its longer (even if its not heavy) it needs to go through the freight services, or pay an oversized charge.

Parcelforce used to have some of the longeest maximum dimensions (seeing as their hubs aren't all lean, mean and efficient sorting machines - yet!!).

Dare I say it - have you tried the Post Office?
