    sale track -

"The charge that you have incurred is for the redelivery of this item. As the parcel went out on a standard service with the DHL Service this means they will attempt delivery once."

Luckily I barely ever use them now.

On standard next day services (b2b) you only get one delivery attempt.

You only get multi attempts with @home services

DHL have tried to deliver a parcel for me three times. The second and third times were after discussion with the recipient about when would be a good time to deliver.

However she wasn't home again today. What will they do next?
It will probably be back with you tomorrow.

Get her to pay for re-dispatch and tell to either provide here work address, or leave a note on the door saying leave with neighbour OR in shed/porch/round back etc.

Also another tip, always best to get buyers to rearrange delivery- just give them the JD number and 0870 2400 555.

Freightsearch have put prices up. Basic is now £7.49 plus vat so its just under a £1 increase when vat is taken into account.

    hey people,

not been following these threads for a while because i've been abroad for few months but i'm now needing some advise,

I've got 10 x ps3's to ship from Leicester to London and want to send them all as one consignment, will i have to package them together somehow or is it possible to send all 10 individually as one consignment? Also what will be the best courier for this?

    Thanks
No reliance should be placed on the above.

Can someone help me please - Ive tried one of the links in the first posts but Ive come up with £111  for a 8.5 kg parcel???

I have a disability walker/shopper that I want to send from Norfolk to an elderly aunt in Somerset. Ive bubble wrapped it, then sort of boxed it in with cardboard and it weighs 8.5 kg. Can someone tell me the best courier please. Ive roughly measured it at 39 x 26 x 18 - its not a box, just sort of boxed in. Is the volume too much because of the cardboard and if so, how on earth can I send it without? is there such a thing as a padded sack for sending an item like a mobility walker or say a pushchair?

Is that cm measurements? How much is the walker worth? If those are cms, then you could send it for less than £8 with someone like Parcel2Go, but that's for items up to £50. I suspect the extra ££££s will be due to extra compensation if the walker is expensive, but you should still get it much, much less than that!

Now, DAK whether I can send a bottle of cuprinol with any of the parcel companies? Unsure whether it qualifies as "hazardous" or not. :undecided I've emailed P2Go but no reply yet.

    ETA: P2Go say no.
