have tried booking with interparcel for the ups service, it wont let me book and comes up with the following , does this mean they dont collect from my area

"Sorry, no Interparcel Economy collection slots have been found for postcode [LN8 3SZ]

Please verify you have entered your collection postcode correctly, or choose an alternative service."

Hi all - please can you help me - I need to send a parcel to USA from UK - weighs 10kg and dimensions are 70x40x40cm. I am only getting really high quotes. It is a statue! I would be very grateful for any advice. Many thanks!

....should be able to get for a little over £50. The price is high because of the volume. Just a word caution, make sure it's packed very well. :)

Armitage, If you've heard nothing more from them, I think you need to get your red pen ready
Most definitely and there will be a few other additions too. Still digging, and trying to find out a more on the situation. Also anyone with FedEx bills I would say at the moment don't pay.

Well this was three working days ago. Anyone else got any good news from Direct Parcels, because I certainly haven't.
I still have a Paypal claim which they haven't even bothered to respond to, let alone made a refund.

I have a Paypal claim in as well and, likewise, no response or refund, but will keep you posted about any developments.
As they chose to close down at the busiest time of year for parcel delivery, I suspect there are many more in our situation.

There will be unfortunately. I would suggest anyone who is in a similar predicament to post it (like you have done), whether it's a unfulfilled delivery or a fedex bill.
  • can anyone else shed any light on why interparcel wont accept my postcode or ludwips to book the ups service
  • I have just returned from holiday to a telephone message from fedex asking me to contact them. I so hope that this is nothing to do with the 3 parcels that I sent to Spain via direct parcel distribution which used the fedex service.
If it is, I hold you responsible armitage as you convinced me (against my better judgement) that these guys were okay now. (LOL)
I TOLD you that these guys could NOT be trusted. Oh how I wish that I had not listened to you and gone with my instincts.

Has anybody still got direct parcel distributions contact address, telephone no. etc.?
Just in case I get billed again by fedex for services that I have already paid for because I will take them to court if necessary.
I am seriously getting mighty peed off with getting ripped off by these fly by night companies!

Might suggest there is a quota system. Because this is probably going to mean a notable increase in UPSs parcel volume, they might be stepping it up in stages to check it can cope etc. Just a theory. Have you tried a different day?

Have you had a bill through the post? If not it might be a different issue, have they all been delivered? If they have, I wouldn't ring them. Transferring bill liability and then getting billed full wack is a new one. So we should all watch out for that in the feature:rolleyes:. I've got everyone and anyone looking into it.
