Does anyone know any cheap sources of boxes which are exactly 5 cubic feet? I.e. DHL's max allowed size?

I'm going to try the supermarket, but any more garunteed ones?

In answer to your other question you're better off using a smaller company where you can get human contact, as I think they'll have to be booked manually.
Good luck explaining what you to p2go live chat!

  • cheers matey in the end i divided the 1 parcel into 2 ( sending one parcel weighing 1.8 kgs and one 1.5 kgs) via royalmail airmail, worked out around £20:money: :money:

That is the max that Parcel2Go allow, but according to their site that should be OK for the £8 service
  • Hi,

I'm trying to send my keyboard to Germany from Leeds, UK for repair.

Does anyone know any cheap courier companies? My muical instrument insurance company say it's totally covered for the whole journey.

The parcel is 19kg, 27cm long, 25cm high and 55cm wide.

    Many thanks

    Tom

  • im trying to send a digibeta video tape to toronto.. needs to be there by the end of next week. any advice on couriers? or a rough idea of a reasonable price?

im pretty sure the fact it's a screening copy of a short film for a festival and we have to write "for cultural purposes, no commercial value" on the packaging means we avoid any extra duty at the other end but im not totally sure how that works...

the festival have asked that we don't use ups forsome reason as well...
  • I've booked an Interparcel Economy service to send an old Commodore 64 computer which I've sold on ebay. After checking I've found that Interparcel's insurance excludes computers. Could anybody tell me where I can buy insurance for the consignment from a 3rd party?

If its just a video tape I'd use normal airmail. by in large they get there by 5 fays. if you want it assured you'll have to pay an extra £5 fro airsure.
