  • This thread gives me a headache, it's difficult to actually pick out the true information, out of all the snipping........sad really.

You only give examples in favour of Parcelcheap. When the parcel is 200x20x20 cm you can use Interparcel and their Titan service. For the parcels 230x30x30 cm you can use UPS economy and pay only . How about that my dear Crunchy?

    1. UPS usually deliver it within the one working day just like Parcelcheap
    2. It's nearly £2 less than with Parcelcheap.
    3. Parcelchep doesn't accept parcels 230 cm long.
    4. Interparcel is the company you can trust. You can call them, you know their address and you can see terms and conditions of sale while Parcelcheap is far behind all they have is dodgy website

The recommendation list I’ve posted shows the best UK deals including the weight, dimensions & volume each company allow for their standard delivery. Parcelcheap allow the largest volume for a standard delivery so if your parcel volume is over 0.21 cubic meters you will save money using their service compared to the other companies. Also they offer a guaranteed next day delivery so if your parcel is not delivered next day you will get your money back. I will say it again because I don’t want anyone to get confused by the ignorance of Ludwip. Parcelcheap provide a good service & an automated website which is fast & simple to use. Their company details are on the Paypal receipt so you can phone them but I’ve found their email response is fast.

Your recommendations just don't make any sense

You should check the first page I think

You are right I can make mistakes and may know much less than some people here but I'm really trying to help if I can as I'm not promoting my own business like you Crunchy.

You can be rude and smear me for as long as you like but posting false information and spamming here definitely won't help your company my friend someone will eventually ban you sooner or later.

The problem is your ignorance is confusing people rather than helping. I’m not being rude to you I’m just making observations based on your ignorant comments. I just want you to add something of use to this thread rather than wasting space.

I will defend all the recommendations I have made because based on my own experience they all provide good value & a good service. I don’t disagree that Freightsearch offer good value for parcels under 15kg however they didn’t payout for an insurance claim when DHL lost my parcel so to recommend them wouldn’t make any sense. As you can see from my recommendation list I’m promoting several companies that all offer the best value for UK parcel delivery. All I’m trying to do is save people valuable time & money. If you rely on the recommendation list posted by ArmitageShanks you will not get the best deals available.

  • Hi. First time I've ever (potentially) sold something overseas on ebay. I have had a browse about for quotes, just wondering if I'm doing this right.
    Box measuring 30cm x 25cm x 17cm, weighing 2 kgs, UK mainland to Madrid.
Best I've found is £16.00 +vat using DHL Europlus through Interparcel. (5% cashback through quidco too).

Other quotes I've had have been around £54 (FedEx) and £30.99 (Parcelforce) so the above DHL price seems quite cheap. Is their Europlus service any good?
I'd really appreciate any advice you can offer. :o

    Thanks loads in advance.

As above, I'd go for Royal Mail airmail which will cost around £11. Bear in mind airmail has a limit of 2kg.

We used to send quite few parcels with PPW it was European Road than I believe DHL Europlus is something very similar or maybe even the same as it is road service as well, there were few parcels damaged. Parcels are always more likely to get damaged in road than in air service offered by FedEx for example but again air is much more expensive.
  • We send document scanners throughout the UK and for multi-consignment jobs we find it is cheaper to use a pallet delivery company.

www.palletonline.co.uk allow you to pay via paypal and their pricing is way lower than the equivalent parcel company prices.

    Hope this helps.

Can someone please tell me, The UK UPS service through Interparcel, does it automatically create the label for you, or do they send it through? I'm not home all day, so if I send something, i need to be sure that the label comes through instantly.
