   Things that have gone wrong today:
    1. Popeyes money has not turned up (should be at the end of Feb, but guaranteed by today) Exceeding the overdraft imminently - so will incur "Reserve Account Usage charges"
    2. Work has been pants pants pants because Boss is away and the toddlers have taken it in turns to bend my ear about the failings of the other one
    3. Forgot to cancel Audible - but haven't even received ONE SINGLE download because I'm technologically inept and was waiting for DS2 to explain how :o , in the meantime the next months subscription has been taken  (will phone and plead tomorrow - but  )
    4. Exchange rate for purchases on cc in Africa is the meanest rate they could have managed
    5. Popeye not answering his phone, so I've paid 40p to leave a message
    And breathe :o

Glad your day has been better MoT :D

It was probably best that I kept quiet yesterday :o I feel a lot better today, yesterday was stressful as Popeye's money was stuck in Limbo and I was worried that the mistake they had made was the account number used, and not just a BACS/CHAPS error. But it arrived this morning, having left Poepye on Monday

Last night I couldn't settle so I painted DS2's sea (did I tell you DS2 wanted what we call a muriel? :o ) This morning it looks better than it did last night, but it is still more Rolf Harris than Turner. I'm hoping the furniture will cover the errors, Popeye is not going to be impressed with the wobbly horizon - but I refuse to use a ruler in "art" :rotfl: :rotfl: (one of our regular "discussions" :p )

Tonight I have to do the pukka bits (picture rail), my housework (It's Thursday, if I do it tonight it means when I come home on Friday night THE WEEKEND STARTS:rotfl: ) and I hope to update my signature for March - it isn't going to be pretty.

On the very exciting news. I found a bargain flight and will be popping out to Africa for a weekend in May :D:D :j So this months debt not only will include the 2 week trip, but also flights in April, May & June :o

Fantastic, Olive! Thats a lot of flights - which means a bit more time than usual spent with Popeye. Hurray! And I'm very impressed with starting up decorating in the evening, wish I had that much energy. What about the paint fumes, do you just keep the windows open and get frostbite?

Well done Olive on all the decorating and housework!! And its such good news to hear that you have managed to slip in another visit to Popeye too xx

Well DS2's room is finished, and he'll be home tomorrow to put the furniture back (I hope:o ) Not a problem with the fumes because until last night it was emulsion, and last night it didn't take long to do the picture rail and then I was out of there.

DS1 has proposed to his gf, and she's accepted, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. He's too young, and will be away so much in the next few years - again I hope :o (he's in the forces) She isn't good enough for him :o:o and we're terrified that she'll persuade him to give up his good careeer because she's young too and will be missing him. (not like an old bag like me who copes with OH away.....)

There now, I've confessed out aloud :o I should be celebrating, and instead I'm worrying
Though I have a sneaky suspicion that he's looked at the financial returns for being married (better housing etc) I may have to contact Lenny and ask ;)

Tonight I shall update my signature, it is not looking pretty with those flights on the cc. But I do have those 3 trips to look forward to. :lovethoug

Tough one about DS & his engagement.
At the end of the day we all only want what we think is the best for our kids.
I got married very young & am now so much older & wiser & am certainly not an advocate of getting married young.
