Well, nerves are starting to set in here. I have packed the twins off to bed and am going myself in a minute as I want to make sure that I get enough sleep before tomorrow - new job day .

Glad parents were ok Olive and that your journey was safe.

    See you tomorrow all xx

I thought so, mot - me, too, so we'll catch up later.
We both know it was another Good News one anyway.
Tomorrow will fly and you'll love it - let's hope rog2 has good news from his i/v yesterday, too.

Dear Olive - you've been terrific for them, again and it took you away from the Absent Muse. I wouldn't be surprised if this departure on your part gave her the huff and brought her right back into the forefront of your mind. Do hope so....
re: Dartford - I must cross that way one day. Would it be as practical for Dover en route to France?

    Hi A,

When we went to Dover en route to Boulogne in October we travelled via the Dartford Bridge so I guess it would be a good way for you too .

Woke at 3am, 4am, 5am then thought 'oh s*d it, may as well get up', for once it wasn't my back/hip keeping me awake ;)

    Yes re: l8r, mot.
Your best flag yet Shaun:T - thankyou, just restores order in the oval world.

Excuse  re: Dartford Crossing - of course it's the bridge, use it every time. I thought there was something else I'd missed all these years, like a little rustic ferry further along, where Magwitch met his Fate.

It's only a bridge in a clockwise manner, if you travel anti-clockwise it becomes a tunnel (or two) so those of us in the know, refer to it as the Dartford Crossing ;)

MoT, I'm probably too late to wish you well, but I know that you're going to be great at this job, and they're lucky to have you. :D You'll probably be [STRIKE]kn*ckered[/STRIKE] quite tired tonight, esp with such a disturbed night. Talk about babysteps, you know how much babies need their sleep? That's because there is so much new to learn every day for them that life is exhausting, so you must be very gentle with yourself this week.

Of course you could come home as high as a kite with excitement :p Whenever I've changed jobs I have found it thoroughly stressful dealing with new people and new work. My Ex changed jobs regularly (His contracts were always between 6 months and 2 years in length) and he said he always hated his first week, but would remind himself that he would give it a month and by then things were always OK.

    Hi Olive,

Don't have to be in til 10am (Cassiobury Park area) so will leave about 9.30 ish, but I am ready - showered, hairwashed, make up on and smart clothes - feel like a new woman :D.

Yes, I guess I will be c'nackered when I get home so will make sure I am relax as much as possible. Tomorrow til Friday I am another centre near B'hamwood training so that's a bit further to travel, then of course next week I will go it alone  so Popeye is right I must give it a month or so before I feel settled.

Desperate for a coffee but think I will probably want to *** too much if I do

I was going to take a photo of me this morning and post it in here, along with the one from the newspaper article when I was going through all the problems,so you could see the chnage in me (vain  I suppose so but so happy that the carp has gone!) but the bloomin' camera battery is dead

Anyway, going to slurp the last of my coffee ( I gave in) have a *** and go, so 'see' you later xx
