I'm popping in and out today - we leave at 5pm
Popeye has arrived in Cape Town, where it is 35 degrees
So what to wear? big fat jumper over a vest top?
I've tidied my bedroom - A sack of jerseys headed for the charity shop - hope to do that this afternoon - they'll be no use in two weeks time when Spring will be here
I've washed loads, which are drying on the airer, ready for our return.
DS1 has turned up  too late to coerce him into driving us :rotfl: (his timing is and always has been impeccable)
Cat has taken agaiinst the entire stockpile of cat food and is rejecting every flavour - he'll just have to lump it while I'm away
And I won 75p on my scratchcards this morning
My luggage is stuffed with books for Popeye that I've been collecting, all his mail (apart from bills  ) a sewing kit for him and my toothbrush. Everything else I need is out there already.:D
It has been really odd having this day at home before flying out. I usually work all day on a Friday and go straight to the airport - this feels like a holiday0 -
sigh... 35C sounds lovely! Have a great time and enjoy your time with Popeye.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
