Tell him to fill his boots with the complementary cosmetics in the toilets, the socks and eye shades, notepads pencils etc - or are they only on long haul?

We have a carrier bag of airline socks to use as slippers
A basket of toiletries for visitors to use in the bathroom (especially useful being able to give unexpected overnighters a toothbrush of their own :rotfl: )

And my pen pot is full of Virgin and Barclays pens (SAA don't do them )

The bedrooms are somewhat tidy, DS's clothes apparently are put away but will check when I go up for a shower, his room still needs a bit of tweaking! DD's clothes are tidied away properly and her room is tidy BUT there has not been a spot of polish anyway in either room :eek: so that will be a task for them today.

Hopefully your car will be snow free later so that you can get home Olive, Holywell Hill and St Stephens Hill are closed (by the police) due to treacherous road conditions!

I loved the interview on the BBC with a headmaster of a Norwegian school about closing schools due to snow. He said that only once in 20 years did they have to close because of snow, and that was when 1 1/2 metres fell in two hours :eek:

We just aren't geared up for snow at all are we?

Just had phone call from Sainsburys Online cancelling my delivery this afternoon due to roads - apparently 2 of their drivers this week have had accidents. So now got to go out myself instead - but maybe tomorrow

Ventured out to Sainsburys, apart from my road it wasn't too bad for driving. Sainsburys car park was quite full, bought loads of shopping - more than I have for a long time (had a bit of extra money) then the twins unloaded it into the house and helped put it all away (the worst bit I think :mad:). So now it can snow, snow, snow as I have enough food for a couple of weeks :j

Morning all - was reading all night and day has dawned sunny and clear.

I have a few big matches starting this arvo and if the AB's aren't playing, the Kiwi Welsh coach is a fair substitute and has made all the difference - and of course I need France to do good things, too.

Yes thankyou, I managed a fairly decentish journey..:rolleyes: although there were several points on it where roadworks and several idiots made it harder..:mad:

My son in law is in Norway at the moment on his Artic training..which is why i went to DD1's as there was a perfect gap:cool: as well as a gap in the weather:rotfl:
