I can just imagine him, mars bar in one hand going hurry up, hurry up ...the poor phlebotomist will have to give him a lolly pop as well..and so she/he should.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

We've got your number Shaun
Bob, nice to see you're back - did you get home before the worst of the weather? I see people have been stranded in their cars over night on the A38  :eek:0 -

And so today, last day at work for two weeks
And I have plenty to do:
The cashflow has been really tight, everybody has been paying as late as the can get away with (me included) and I've spent days phoning people about their overdue invoices (as have people been phoning me)
But I've got to arrange the payroll to be run the Friday before I return (I'm all right if they don't spend anything they haven't received, all I've got is committed - it's just as much a tightrope as at home :rotfl: ) and save for the VAT too.......
I have to leave everything spelled out carefully - whereas usually I can say "fob them off I'll be back in a few days" I can't this time.
Don't tell MoT but I've asked the cab firm downstairs to drive us to the airport tomorrow. Today there is such snow that I didn't want to ask my friend or DS1 to do it in case they were nervous about driving in this weather. The firm give me a nice price and it works out cheaper than two of us by train - yes really! as we have to go into London and out again.0 -
Good luck with all your injections today Shaun and ENJOY those Mars Bars after
.
Snowing again here quite heavily so school closed again - hope Heathrow runways are working fully for tomorrow Olive!
Another day of being trapped indoors, should use the time to do my housework and think I will give the twins some jobs to do too so I don't feel that I'm working alone!
Hope everyone is ok today xxChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
Which terminal are you going from OO - My DS is off to Norway from T5 tomorrow......but OH has decided to travel down tonight and stay in a travel inn type place near the airport, in case the weather closes in.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. British Airways? I'm impressed, they've only come up cheaper ONCE since I've been buying flights and that was for Popeyes flight. He said they were the bestAnd T5 is beautiful
OH designed the railway into it too
(just the tracks - and I always say how hard is THAT? All you have to do is make sure they don't meet.....)
I'm T3 (Virgin of course  No chance of an upgrade -they SELL their upgrades!!)
But our flight is an evening one, I think European ones are less likely to be? otherwise I'd offer a mattress on the floor of DS2's newly carpeted room to your OH & DS.0 -

And how are the bedrooms? A delight yet?
The snow has now stopped, but my car in the works carpark is impressively snowed in, colleagues should recognise how long I've been here. (However I've mostly been on here)

Yup, BA - because most kids who ski at that level are at public school, with families who can afford nothing less than BA.........
If it was up to me, he would be travelling from Stanstead - Norwegian Airlines do £79 return, which has always done us fine in the pastSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground.
