    Chateau neuf du Chat?

And MoT the flight is at 20.35, so should be there at 18.35, but I've a couple of peeps still in mind to ask and if all else fails there are trains :D

Today I received an e-mail from a good friend and she told me she's bored, so she's an obvious target :D (mercenary? Moi? :o )

MoT, :T You are so very kind :D

I was cogitating today on how lovely this community is and how much time people spend on here helping others.

And yet, what is our aim? every single one of us?

To get out of here :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh, and BTW, it is Heathrow, so on the way home for DS1, so he should jolly well offer :rotfl:

   To A&L credit card.

This is a moneyback credit card which I use when my Amex isn't accepted. I prefer the Amex because I use the air miles (no surprise there ;) )
In December I had a couple of credits to the account which arrived as the payment was due. I thought they would do as my minimum payment, because as I had bought so many flights that month money was tight.

SIX days later, re-jigging my budgets I paid the entire balance off (actually a bit more as I hadn't accounted for one of the credits)

As far as A&L are concerned I broke my terms and paid late. They DIDN'T regard the credits as a payment. (suppose that had brought my balance to Nil?) I didn't get a late payment fee, instead I completely lost my interest free period  for the next TWO months. From the moment I used it I incurred interest, and not spotting that on the amended t's & c's is my problem, I have to pay £9.95 in interest this month.

I told the customer advisor that I'd never heard anything like it, and she said that was a reaction she had heard from others. I said I'd be closing the account and she said sorry to hear that.

so     and you'll have to imagine the foot stamping icon.

And ANOTHER thing - I paid my Egg card off in full, but they STILL took my minimum payment, so another letter claiming that. :o
