Yes, it really was a warm, friendly time- as always with mot - and we sort of called it 1st Anniversary of our meeting in person. It was reasonably near.

Met the splendid Dibley, too. He's just a little smasher of a naughty, scampy, softy, purry, silly, little tinker of a smoocher.

IT makes EXCELLENT Bubble and Squeak - no, no, it's v.bad, because one plate is NOT ENOUGH.

    How's your weekend been, b/l?

I'll find out next time - I'm having earlyish bed now.

    Night all.

    Hi :hello:

Glad you got back safely Ampersand - goodness knows what wrong the b***** phone .

Had a lovely meal with 2 other couples at a really nice restaurant in St A - Freddie's (do you know it Olive?) food excellent and company superb, I'd forgotten how lovely these folk are especially Pam, and she and her husband asked after DS and his awful cough, as IT had kept them informed of what was happening with us all.

Not back too late, and my friend's daughter was looking after twins and has stayed the night, so that squishy, snuggly bed is occupied again A :D. She is a really sweet girl, just 16 and the poor mite has glandular fever, she's over the worst but keeps having set back days - all in her GCSE year too, luckily her Head of Year suffered with GF at the same time in her life so is very understanding.

Friend's dog has now had op to remove her womb and is recovering in the extremely caring and very knowledgeable hands of the staff at the RVC. But what a price to pay for the treatment - £1500  good job DF has a wonderful ex MIL :T.

Yes, beanie, Dibley is our smashing 6 month old bundle of naughty fun aka as a kitten!! He is black with bits of white under his tum and on his 'socks' area, but also has a collar of white under his neck hence the name Dibley!! He also has the most amazing black and white chequered nose - how sweet :grinheart.

Had a wonderful weekend with Ampersand, I am really comfortable in your company A! Had loads of chat, watched tennis with our hearts in our mouths, had good food and wine and plenty of cups of Chai tea - all in all a lovely time, thank you A :grouphug: from us all xx

The snow has arrived :j:j:j everywhere is white and we have about 3 inches - it looks so pretty! Not sure how I will feel about it later when I have to take DS to his appointment with the paedatrician at 10.10am . But I have to go as we have to find out why he keeps coughing and vomiting, it has been like this now for 16 weeks (it all started before we got Dibley, so its not him thats causing it). Last night he had a high temperature too, so goodness what on earth is going on .

Will get milk and a few supplies whilst I'm out now that CB has arrived, then hole myself up in the warm for the rest of the day.

I didn't take my co-codamol last night when I went to bed so consequently have had an awful night with hip pain and am up far too early .

Anyway, hope everyone is ok, sorry for hijacking thread Olive and hope you had a good weekend too, see you later xx

And now I have found out that the twins and my friend's daughters schools are closed, so they are home all day - no sneaky nap then ;)

I'm fine really thanks bl, and shaun don't worry about mis-spelling my name, I bet you've "sean" a few mis-spellings of yours :rotfl: :rotfl: (is joke Ja?)

Although I'm fine and I lurve the snow (garden hasn't looked so tidy since Popeye left :rotfl: ) the office continues to be a bit grim. It is now affecting my sleep, I've woken up in the early hours, tired but my mind too busy to sleep every night for the past week. :o I tried to talk to the boss, but it's obviously a problem he is aware of, and I don't want to add to his concerns.
But if it continues then the whole company is in jeopardy  (sounds melodramatic, but the co is small and the staff arguments are becoming known in this small industry - if the colleague who is threatening to leave actually goes we'd have more trouble recruiting than you'd believe!)

Popeye suggested tonight that I leave - but that would be even more problems for the co, and I do care about my boss.

In the meantime I've being doing some MSE things. Signed up for another Bingo site, (with cashback) for the free scratchcards and I've been trying to use an Argos on-line voucher to buy new curtains (reduced). The voucher doesn't seem to be acceptable so I've e-mailed them for help - it has to be used by the 14th.

Olive~Sorry that it seems that the whole office thingy seems to be getting serious & that it is also starting to affect your health & well being.
Surely the boss needs to try to work out some solution ?
