hi sorry dident get back yesterday was a little busy.
    holls were fab
es went skiing, tobogganing, ice skating all out doors in loads of soft fluffy snow..
elvin had a couple of bad bugs including 3day fever(i think it was measles) 2days of high fever and then small red spots on day 3,4,5,all over body ??
but it dident stop him growing and now weighs 8.6 kilos at 5months the weight of a 9month old.
we may have sold the appartment but as always someones got to buy theirs and that person needs a loan eth,,,,so we will see..
ate to meny cakes and chocs (if thats possible)
newyears eve was fab,,everyone buys a couple of rockets ..they sell fireworks for the two weeks leading up tp ny.
and everyone goes out at midnight to let them off
so imagine 1000's of people with 2 rockets each and you get a hugh firework display lasting 1.5hrs,,,,
    then meals out
    friends
    cheep shoping
had to buy another case to get things home
thick jumpers €15,proper winter coats €60,fur linned boots €25 eth so were a little to bulky to get home,,nice thing was ryan air dident charge for the extra case:j
all in all was so nice to escape everything and of cource i dont really understand the language and no uk papers so you really do get away from everthing,,

Sounds great! There's a couple of houses near me, occupied all the time, that *still* have their external Christmas lights up! I think they just like them, it makes me smile every time I see them. You stay with it, Shaun!

    Hi Olive :hello:

Having a lovely time with Ampersand she didn't go home last night! We sat and chatted yesterday then DS and OH mended bed - let the boys do the work!! - whilst we continued to sit and natter :D. Then I disappeared for a hour or so to take friends dog to the vets - not good news she has pyometra, dog that is not the friend :rotfl:- then back to lovely meal by which time A decided to stay.

Took A cup of Chai tea this morning and snuggled under the duvet nattering again til 12 noon!! Now she has walked into town with DS and is having a sneaky peak at local charity shops for a good bargain or two :D. I stayed at home ringing vets and RVC to get dog referred for hospilisation so now have to take the dog over there this pm.

Oh, what a chaotic life ;);)

Well yesterday we cleared DS2's room (apart from his bed) so the sitting room is stuffed with furniture.
Today we need to clean it. There's mould in one corner.:o
Hopefully I'll be able to paint the skirting board and possibly the ceiling. But everything takes longer than I expect it to. :o
And of course DS2 is still in bed...... ;)

Tomorrow the carpet gets fitted   so we really need to get moving.

Now back, snow starting 20 miles en route and v. heavy by the time I arrived back here.
Have tried to 'phone mot and tell her so, but for some reason, it's doing one ring then cutting off.
So, mot, it, twins - I'm safely back - thankyou all for a lovely weekend and we'll catch up soon.

I have to recover from my magnificent victory over Rog Fed this morning and let my lactic acid levels drop back to normal.

I hope you're having a lovely dinner this evening.

Just hearing more Snow meteo's and warnings and 'extreme weather event' special broadcasts.
Will it be fun getting in to Open Door tomorrow?
    Could be.

    Take care everybody.
