:rotfl: me too BB, my motto is dont run if you cant walk. I have myself a pedometer (delivered today) so once I get off my fat backside and start doing my 3 miles a day I will then try running

someone said there is a good mara plan in RW this month.... Sally/Sammy? can you advise?

I've got so many different training plans I don't know where to start :rotfl: Seriously, I have got an idea what I'm doing training-wise, and I should be OK if things like colds/ coughs, stress, real life etc stop getting in the way! :o

I think that's right Maz! At the moment I'm wandering what on earth I've done signing up for a marathon.. just over 20 weeks to go and I can't see how I'm going to get fit enough

Sqizzer I am sending Sally the 'really busy persons' guide to a first marathon... I will photocopy it now, pm me your address and I will send it to you too...

Had to read back for a minute there I thought Maz had signed herself up for a marathon...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm cheering on Red Squirrel in Edinburgh marathon in may... along with Hypno, Cnoelj and Pania (i think it is those guys? correct me if i'm wrong squizzer!)

I dunno if i will manage a Glasgow race, my plans are...

Balmoral Road Race 5 or 10k - April (I'll probably do the 5k version, rather than 10k, runchum rachel is doing 10k)
Aberdeen city Baker Hughes 10k - may
    Aberdeenshire jog scotland 5k - june 16th
    Leeds 10k - june - 21st
    Moray 10k - Aug/sept

plus a wee RFL as well, but will probably be Aberdeen i guess...

i might come join you for a glasgow RFL 5k as well... never say never! trouble is, i'd slow you down!

i missed out a 5k on 16th June, a few days before Leeds, so it will be my taper run.........

Personally I don't think I could EVER contemplate doing a marathon and its not often I think I can't do something...thats my problem sometimes.....
