Well ladies and gents it's official that there will be no more babies in the Toto house. Hubs has been 'done'. It made me  when he walked out carrying a brown paper bag... I said 'christ are your balls in there?'

He's now groaning on the sofa like a real man :rotfl:

  • Aww BB, I bet it is lovely having your very own MSE hot water bottle in this weather too!

Maz - wow - thank you for taking the time - definitely food for thought. I could look for another job, but that would mean changing nursery. I did search for a childminder before xmas but didn't find one I really liked... but yes I could still search. However a pro of the job is some flexibility - working at home 1.5 days - I could possibly increase this to help the transport issue, not sure if my manager would go for it but maybe.

We have the cleaning done once a week - we might be able to keep that up but I don't mind the idea of doing it myself too much.

LOL at wanting Erin to sit down and shut up! Even now I do look back fondly at the pre-crawling days, I could make a cup of tea and find the baby where I'd left him and there could be cables and pens (major obsessions) anywhere and it wouldn't matter :rotfl: but you are right and the relationship we have will just become more and more a 2-way thing

Work are not funding the OU course but I was planning to use some of my working at home time to read course material, and do more work in the evenings - some of my job is very easy and I can do it on the laptop while sitting with OH - more juggling but study time would be me ALONE which I think is important.

Potentially could swap cleaning for 1 days childminding a week so I have time to study.

Lots of ways to cut back on bills etc, I know I have work to do there. Got to wait for OH's tax bill and re-assess the money situation.

    Phew!

:rotfl: sorry that made me laugh out loud in my office! Aw poor hubby, hope the recovery isn't too bad!

So what was in the bag?

Hey i was only filling in til Bunny comes and gives her input... if anyone can juggle it's her!!!

One thing i will say is now erin is older, I'm getting very selfish, and am getting better at putting my needs in the mix more...

    so it does improve...

I wasn't ignoring you all honest - I was out for my lunchtime walk.

Not sure what is going on with my appetite today - had 2 slices of toast & jam for brekkie, ate my entire lunch and snacks brought from home by 11am plus a bar of chocolate and on way back to office at lunch waddled into Greggs for a sausage roll, bag of crisps, bottle of coke and iced ginger cake (supposedly for afternoon tea...:p ). I'm gonna get soooooooooooooooooofat if I keep going like that:eek:

DD - I have a bit more energy. I've just got 7 days at work after today so am plodding on through. Not that busy so its just as easy to sit at my desk and do nowt as it is to sit at home and do nowt:p

We now think the massage oil I was using was causing the itching as I forgot to pack it for Mum's and while I was away the itching eased and it came back when we were home. Its still being looked at, along with thyroid, and now there was a trace of protein in my sample yesterday that needs checking too. Its just me that's falling apart though - Bean is doing grand - the fundal height is tracking right along the line in my wee book, heart rate is bang in the middle of the 'normal' range and head was even downwards yesterday. (I swear the little mite arranges itself especially for the MW as there's always a good wriggle about once we leave the GP:rotfl: )

Are you working full time at the minute? Perhaps going part time is the answer? Get a bit of both worlds?

BB - the May run should give me 10 weeks to train so I would expect to do it in around 90minutes (did it in 66min last year, unknowingly about 2 weeks pregnant!) with the aim for Leeds to be around the 65min mark and September to go sub 60mins...

maz, will let you know the date for glasgow RFL and Miss Jinky can most definitley join us!

HL - beaten by a 7ft owl - methinks you weren't taking it seriously enough:p definitely pride at stake this year then!
