I'm still keeping a check on threads as this site has been part of my everyday life for the past 6 weeks. I don't understand why they are issuing people cheques instead of crediting back directly onto the cards:confused: . For those of you who are awaiting payment...fingers crossed you get your money back.... As you will see there have been quite a few people (including myself) who eventually received a refund (albiet it took some time).

Good news...my Stokke Xplory arrived as promised from Back in Action today and I only ordered it yesterday...I'm going to spend the rest of my afternoon putting together and hopefully I will now be able to erase the memory of my dealings with BA forever... GOOD LUCK EVERYONE with your refunds and new babies.:A

They could have lost their merchant card facility due to the amount of chargebacks. Seems like the only method of payment is Protx.

yeah same here, i keep checking in and cant believe more and more people are being ripped off. For all of those waiting please contact your banks for the charge back before they are bankrupt and you cant be refunded! This needs to be done ASAP!

I did get my refund, but i kept emailing and calling, persistence is the key!

Good luck. D x
• Hi,

I can totally understand how you feel, I only wish I had done the credit check out before placing the order (live and learn) our order was over £700. They said the CCJ was due to the fact of a disagreement with a supplier! Once they process the refund, Protx confirmed the next day that it had left their bank and was in the process of arriving to mine, time scale is dependant on each bank. Give them a call tommorow (I use to leave it ringing out for ages) and demand a refund. I hope you can get through and get it sorted.
Good Luck

Eventually got through to Bebe Amor on 0800 number this afternoon after getting hung up on once before earlier this morning. They could not confirm an exact delivery date for my order but did imply it would be with me next week as they have the isofix base for the seat in stock...clearly can guarantee we will not receive this next week!! We were initially told that they were awaiting large stock order from supplier (just like everyone else) but when we contacted their direct supplier, Recaro, this morning they advised that Bebe Amor does not have a pending order with them??!! and we were also advised that the colour of carseat we had ordered has been discontinued  so why have we not been advised of this??!!!! Going to see my Solicitor about this matter now as it is becoming a real joke. Also, noticed the comment on this page about them having CCJ against them in Jan 09, not surprised althought doesn't leave a good outlook for all of us customers who have yet to receive our goods!
• Some good news -- hopefully!

We finally appear to have our order. One month after we originally ordered our car seat we received a card from Interlink through the door this morning and I've arranged for it to be redelivered tomorrow.

They never answered their telephone and were hopeless with response to our emails. We asked them to email us when it had shipped and to give us the tracking number, which they didn't do. They didn't even reply when we said that we had no further option but to start proceedings to reclaim the money!

I remain optimistic, but cautious -- it could still be the wrong one, or broken! :/ I'll keep you updated!

Just wanted to let you know that I received a call from Dorel UK, who are the manufacturers of the following products, Maxi Cosi, Bebe confort, Quinny to name but a few. They were following up on the email I sent them last week regarding BA.

They informed me that the complaints (other people have complained also) have been forwarded to the Sales and Marketing Directors and they will be getting in contact with BA. I again pointed out to them that BA were giving Dorel a very bad name because they were advising customers it was the fault of the manufacturer as they were awaiting delivery from them (e.g Dorel) which wasn't the case as Dorel actually had the goods (including the ones I was waiting for) in stock!!!

Can I encourage you to send complaints to Dorel as they need to know the scale of the problem. Their email address is:customercare@uk-dorel.com
• I've had pretty much the same experience – ordered 'in stock' travel system only to be told a load of guff 2 weeks later about stock problems, rude replies to emails after another 2 weeks (even though I told them I was due to have my baby that week!) so hubby looked for reviews and found a zillion angry customers. Why didn't I look before I ordered?

Anyway, unbelievably part of my order arrived today, although I'm still chasing the rest. They're just blatantly ignoring my emails now. I'll try chargeback if it's not with me by next week.

How are they getting away with this?

Which kind of Carseat did u order?? Ours is the Recaro with Isofix base and really dont think we are going to receive it :( They have told us we will defo have it next week, but we have heard this all before just like everyone else. It will be 2weeks this Sat since we ordered. Did u keep on at them about ur carseat for it to have been delivered within a month?? I'm angry but if i knew i would also defo receive the seat i would be fine about it. Just getting worried now as think i am likely to have a section therefore i will be having the baby earlier than expected :(
• We ordered a Cossatto Hogarth bed, blinded by the price, on the 9th Feb. Nothing from them yet, almost 3 weeks later. Luckily, we were ordering early: baby isn't due 'til June, but I've read 11 pages of this thread, and have emailed asking for a refund, as 3 weeks without any indication as to delivery is bad enough, but even worse when they've already taken the money. Will be phoning the credit card in the morning to initiate the chargeback procedure too.
• I ordered 2 recaro seat Last Tues (£240) and have heard nothing, despite sending emails.
The phone is constantly engaged too.

We paid by Maestro debit card, so think we may be out of luck on getting a charge back but will call the bank today.

I will, if needs be, go the 180 miles from Norwich to Huddersfield and remove £240 of stock from their showroom if its not refunded by next Saturday.
