Well PROTX replied and they cannot assist in retrieving/cancelling funds but they will contact bebe-amor (good luck with that) and ask them to make contact with me. They also monitor the customer service of the companies they process for and will be making sure they are providing a good service so maybe if everyone emails the payment server they will withdraw the service to bebe amor this making it hard for them to rip others off for a while... every little helps?0

I have re-ordered from mothercare whom I previously got stuff from with no problems- should have went there in the first place! Also, 'baby central' in stirling are very good and offer the best customer service I have ever experienced, i got my pram and moses basket from there.0 -
yeah i got other things at mothercare and they all came in a few days too, u just try to save yourself some £££s though and end up paying more in the process, im exhausted with it all now!0

Well as I suspected no refund has been forthcoming. I've sent two emails, spend the day yesterday trying to get through and this morning two hours trying and eventually I got through. When I did I was left holding for 19 minutes (I'm convinced they do it so you will hang up as same thing last week). The bloke I spoke with said that they would be sending a cheque for the refund. Hold on a minute, last week I was told the refund had been processed through Google checkout. Well the response to this was their account has been suspended. I said, then the info I was given last week by 'Matthew' was a lie to which he reponsded well I can't comment on that. Well it's not rocket science it was a blatant lie the refund had never been processed.
So now I have wait for the Managing Director, Steven Green to sign a cheque which will be sent out in the next couple of days - and I really believe pigs might fly.
I've logged complaint with Trading Standards and am going through my bank via paying on Visa Debit. I fully intend to see this through, even if we drive a 6 hour round trip, they are not keeping my money. I also intend to make a criminal allegation against the MD for the offence of theft - dishonestly appropriating property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it.
Oh by the way the idiot I spoke to on the phone would not give his name as he didn't have to (according to him), very brave.0 -
Popped into the bank at lunchtime, and the guy didn't have a clue about the Visa Debit Chargeback! So I assured him that it did exist, so he gave me the number for their Debit Card disputed Transactions Helpline.
10mins later I managed to get through to someone, went through the details, and they are sending me a form to complete and sign. Then when they receive the form back, they will refund me the ££ and then investigate the issue further !!!!
Still no contact from anyone @ Bebe Amor!0 -
A complaint has also been lodged with Trading Standards, through their Consumer Direct website. I also know of a number of people who have reported this to Watchdog, which I will also be doing asap.0

I got my form through from my bank this morning, i urge u all to act quickly on this cos once they are closed down - which i think will happen - we prob wont see a penny cos the company will go bust and our banks wont be able to reclaim the £££s for us!

I'm also waiting for the forms from my bank and I'll be attaching all the email history between me and them as proof of their constant lies!!! I'm also planning to write to ALL the manufacturers who provide this company with goods as they NEED TO KNOW WHAT's GOING ON and Bebe Amor are damaging their brand. I will also provide them with a sample of emails of this thread just to give them a taster.... I've decided not to go down there (just yet) unless I can't get my money back from the Bank as I'll either end up getting myself arrested or go into early labour!!! I've also reported them to Trading Standards and Watchdog and I've also added some info on the Bounty website. I only wish I'd stumbled across this site BEFORE I ordered from these bunch of scammers.0

Oh dear...looks like this company is going from bad to worst...
Anyway, just thought I should let you know that we DID receive our refund within 3-5 working days, so I hope that gives some of you a little bit peace of mind.0 -
I am another that has been conned! Ordered a BeBe Confort Loola pram system with Windoo carrycot and teknic footmuff on 02/02/09. then had an email saying would be 7-10 working days for delivery and guess what...nothing. Emailed them back for an update of delivery then found this site! Now after no reply to emails and being sat trying to get through on phone all day today and yesterday am going to contact bank to get money back through the Visa Debit Chargeback route.
Also think I will contact trading standards and Watchdog in hope that they will take notice and investigate this excuse for a company.0
