  • My offer is still there to host the pics for you ;)

    Hurry up and get your bags packed .... we had a really good day :) we both said we will do it again :D ... not sure where poundland is but I want to go to poundland I need some burp cloths for my little nappy empire :rotfl:

    Thanks Rusty - may well bother you tomorrow but I will not let photobucket win :mad:.

    OH put his application in on Monday so will see what happens. I was a bit concerned about moving again as I remember how difficult I found it last time before I got a job when I didn't know anyone here and OH went off to work every day - but then I remembered my virtual friends and knew I'd be fine :D

    So long as DD doesn't do what she did last time - she was just 3 and managed to jam a button off the duvet cover up her nose - boxes everywhere and we had to drop everything and find our way to the local casualty department - fortunately OH was off and held her in a head lock in the ENT section as she screamed the place down - got some very odd looks in the corridor when we came out - strangely enough had a visit from the health visitor the next week :rotfl:
    Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

    sylphraven - I totally agree about this thread, it's better than reading any magazine therefore very mse.:D

    Thanks for all your kind comments - I botched it up a bit and I'd used stamps so I couldn't cover it up very well - but I enjoyed it

    Bargain of the day - went into hmv cos I had some vouchers and barbie swan lake (bairn watches these films in silence-who knew! she's such a tomboy)well anyways it was 18 pounds, then I went into asda for butter and in there it was 3- just cos it was in a carry case, they had the normal boxed one for a fiver but who cares it's the exact same film who cares about the box...

    plm - can't take credit for the rolo - it was paddingtondoo's idea. Thanks for your last post by the way - you made me feel special-wub.

    Just watched last episode of lost for second time, love sawyer :drool:

    :o Mmm sawyer....:rotfl::D

    :ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

    Morning everyone
    After seeing the dolls house from freecycle on here I thought I would ask my daughter who goes on the freecycle site all the time to see if anyone had any wool for knitting. Well two ladies have and OH has agreed to take me to pick it up this afternoon so very pleased.

    was thinking about doing that and looking for gardening stuff - want to become self sufficient for veg, and herbs, would love one of those plastic shelf greenhouses - wonder if they come up at all?? have to have things up a height as dog would just dig them up, may try a vegetable patch with a chicken wire fence though see if that stops her messing it up.

    we never get much snow down here in kent. had a bit last week but it didnt last long.

    Needed to get my daughter a new school blazer and had put some money by then got one at her school second hand for a fiver, will last her the next year and a half then they dont wear them any more. Putting a tenner of my saving onto her holiday fund so £80 to go, thats half way there now.

    Also my ex MIL gave me a make up bag yesterday thats new. Have put ti away for dughters Christmas present as want to get her some nice make up. Will be having a look at the boots deals once I have paid off this trip for her. Have some money to come back from quidco in April if all goes well, OH decided to buy himself a new dvd recorder etc last night as ours is on the brink so talked him into going through my Quidco so £20 odd to come back from there, plus £10 from littlewoods bingo, both due april.

    She also gave me some hot cross buns which I have just had to try with a cup of hot chocolate as I'm freezing lol
