Hi all,
What's the camera like on the phone? Am due an upgrade and have seen good reviews for the HTC HD but just wondered if the camera is good quality?
thanks!0 -
both have a 5Mp camera with autofocus. You'll find trial pictures showing quality taken by the review sites if you look.0

it's a good phone, my friend has one and I am looking to get one (so if you see any fab deals I would love to know). I have been using a predecessor (HTC Hermes) for years and I love it. Windows mobile 6.1 is a lot like using windows and once you get your head around it it's pretty logical. The great thing is there are loads of applications out there for it too.
I watched a video on you tube the other day testing the HD vs the Touch Pro (very similar to the Diamond), it was quite informative...can see it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSaW7U5tDXU:hello: TTC since 11/090 -
Thinking of getting a HTC phone but not sure which one would be best.
Any HTC users out there recommend which one is the best?
Or should I avoid them all together?0 -
Depends on your network, or who you prefer. The latest one is the magic, i think its exclusive to vodafone. This one comes on android so they are strictly not just win based. Please support my thanks button if I have been of any help

The Tmobile G1 is a HTC phone as well I think and that also runs Android.
I have a HTC Touch HD. I really like it, Window Mobile has a few annoying features such as it can only handle one contact in a Vcard so I had to send them all individually which took me a while!0 -
Not sure really,
I want a phone that is ok for calls but will be better for emails/surfing.
I like the ideal of having word/excel as I would use this a lot more.
I'm also considering an iphone (no windows function I know)0 -

My personal preference is a qwerty is a must when emailing and using docs a lot. I tried a touchscreen only option but only managed a frustrating day with it before it got sent back and I reverted to my tytn2.
If win mob appeals and email is important then start by looking at the htc tytn2 - old but still one of the best functioning handsets out there. The sony ericsson xperia x1 is available now and whilst a SE phone it was designed by htc on their behalf - I'd have moved to it but I don't like the keyboard (personal choice). The htc TouchPro2 is due for release on networks in Q3 if rumours are to be believed.
Previous mentioned sites in last post will give you a good overview of device tests. Also check out expansys which lists much of what is out there and coming soon. Hope that helps a bit.0 -
Can you help?
I am after a Windows Mobile phone and have come across the HTC Touch 3G as an entry-level PDA. Do you have any experience of this phone? I have seen the phone and have tried it in a shop, but that is not really a good indicator as it could only be used for such a short period of time. I suppose one of the key things is how easy and accurate the touch screen is for texting and data entry into Mobile Office etc. I have looked at various reviews on CNET etc., but tend to treat these cautiously. Also, is the handwriting recognition any good?
I am able to get the phone through Orange on a 24 month contract, 200 mins, unlimited texts for 30 pounds a month, phone cost 40 pounds.

Whoops, sorry HTCWinmob, I meant to say £15 a month.
Thx for the info.0
