Was looking for the best deal for this phone for a long time, and apart from these deals that we have to take peoples word on, (£10 a month - yeah, right.) buymobilephones.net is by far the cheapest.
A good site for comparing prices is bestmobiledeals.org.uk, and it is also worth noting that phones4u (incase you worry about how reputable the internet companies are) have launched a decent deal with free phone for £30 a month.
Seriously, seriously good phone though.
Oh, the deal i got, that was delivered in ship shape condition courtesy of buymobilephones.net was £29.36 on orange dolphin with 400 and unlimited texts. pretty good deal, but you have to add on the data bundles from orange separately.
Happy shopping!0 -
Ive heard if you drop this fone once then thats it!0

Hey there all, just for interest...
I upgraded to this phone with orange today.
18 Month Contract
HTC Touch HD Free
1200 mins
unlimited txts
unlimited internet (500mb)
£35 per month.
At the time I thought that was quite a good deal compared with the previous contract I had. I have been an orange customer and paid by D Debit for over 11 years, so apparently, I am in the highest customer loyalty bracket... or so they told me.
I currently have a Sony Ericsson P1i which Mazuma will pay me £81 for! so I'm pretty happy!!

Just wondering if anyone here has had this phone on an O2 contract and if so how did you do it? What contract did you have to take to get it? What are your thoughts on the phone? I am also tempted by a Nokia 5800 but the HTC seems to be in a different league from what I can see. Just a little worried about it's robustness?0

Can anyone help me by passing comments on the phone?0

My deal with O2 ends in May and so I'm looking at the options. Would like an Iphone but with the obvious rumours of new one being introduced later in the year, then thinking about getting the Touch HD on a 12 month contract with Orange, and looking at the deals again on Iphones in 12 months time - alternatively if I don't get on with the Touch could sell it on Ebay and get a PAYG Iphone.
A lot of the Touch HD reviews on the web have been done by people who haven't really "lived" with the phone for a period of time - so what are the glitches (I'm not fussed about the missing bits on iphones - camera/SMS are things I only use very very rarely - more interested in internet access/ease of use/push email/videos)
Any views would be appreciated from people who have lived with the phone!
