You have to use £5 in three months otherwise they gonna charge you £0.75. I recieved this mail last month.
they deducted £0.75 on 07/01/2006 and recived another mail today 20/01/2006 saying:Our records indicate that usage on your easyMobile.com account,<Mobile Number>, between 20/09/2005 and 20/12/2005 has been below £5.00.
Please be aware that we may apply the charge of 75p to your account if your spend does not exceed £5.00 in the three month period from the end of this month. This charge would be taken from the balance of your easyMobile.com account.
Now they will deduct £0.75 again. :mad:Our records indicate that usage on your easyMobile.com account,<Mobile Number>, between 20/10/2005 and 20/01/2006 has been below £5.00.

As I posted in the above thread - This is not listed in the terms and conditions, so I do not see how they can legaly charge this fee.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

I went with them initially to choose a number, which was fine and they only charge 20p/minute for receiving calls in Europe - BUT these extra charges really p*%s me off.
They also have a leaving fee of £5.00 but I think this is only if you want any credit back from them. I guess wwen I get close to zero I will ask for the PAC number. It's a shame in a way but like the OP, another of these emails today really annoys me.....0 -
I'm with easy primary for text messages, what other mobile providers have a better deal than easy.........0

Hi Mates!
Today I decided to get rid of this EasyTrap coz I can't afford 75p/month. I had negative balance of £ 2.60. When I paid £ 2.60 by my card, I was expecting 0.00 Balance but it shows negative £0.25. Then I find out that they charge 25p for topup  , Then I made another payment of 50p, Then my account balance become £0.00, Then clicked on Close Account. After going through the process I managed to close my account but now it shows my balance negative £ 3.36  , It appear as 1 Bonus withdrawal I don't know what the hell is it. I am going through this hessel coz may be they mark this balance as uncleared debit, Can some one confirm?????"Money saving is often a science, investment is often an art."...MSE0 -
Same thing happened when I closed an account, suddenly the balance was a negative. I got in touch with their customer services via online link and they reversed it for me and closed the account with no charge incurred. Hope you have good luck too.0

when i left easy, they did a bonus withdrawal to me too....i think it's the deduction of whatever bonus credit easyMobile first gave out to entice users to sign (eg. £10 initial top-up gives you an additional, bonus £10)....according to easy's CS it should be £5.00, but nowhere in their T&Cs did I see a clause for such a 'bonus' process
and, it was free for me to get my PAC and port, don't think they charge fo that0 -
At easyMobile.com we make no charge for a PAC nor do we charge a closing fee. Any balance on the account above £5 will be returned, once the account has fully closed, whether or not the customer has requested a PAC.
There is no need for a customer to incur the 25p Top-Up fee; we have an automatic Top-Up service which is free; once the balance reaches £2 we take the requested amount from the customer's credit/debit card.
We did experience a technical hitch with our Bonus Withdrawal system; any customer who had an incorrect Bonus Withdrawal applied will have had this rectified upon contacting our customer service department; the join up Bonus is non-refundable hence the need for this to be applied when a Customer leaves us.0
