    Checking myself in for today.

Yesterday I did eat half a fairy cake as DD and I made them for the school macmillian worlds biggest coffee morning and I didnt want her to feel sad I didnt try them, Shes only 9, also had an apple.

Today boiled eggs again, a decent slice of quice and salad, the other half of my waitose salmon thingy and pub tonight so vodka diet coke.

I feeling so chuffed with myself, I just really cant believe its this early, I know its ealy days but I just feel so positive, did the CD again in bed last night, really makes you feel good.

It might be a strange question to ask but do you feel you slept any better after listening to the tape? Tell us how you listened to the tape?

If I do the tape at night I dont fall asleep as some people have said but I do feel a sense of calm and I think it does help me sleep better.

Well it was such a late night Friday, breakfast wasnt till 11.00 on Sat but had bacon, sausage and egg plus a slice of a nice loaf. Therefore wasnt hungry for lunch until late, prawns, salad and half an advocado, tea was just a small bit of cheese and biscuits.

Had a really lazy weekend, Sunday breakfast was as Sat again not til 10.30 and I have only just felt hungry again, prawns, half an advocao and tesco fruity cous cous.

DH has munched though a box of Ritz crackers and 2 danish pastries this weekend and it hasnt bothered me.

Did have rather a lot of vodka friday night though.

Still feeling good, when I wake up tomorrow it will have been a week, so even though he says give it two weeks until you weigh I think I might have a sneaky go on the scales.

Well done but a better way of testing for success is do your clothes feel looser. weight loss can be misleading as if you exercise you could lose fat but put on muscle. or the amount of fluid in your boday can make a pound or two difference. believe the measuring tape.;)

Thanks AB, i know my stomach has gone a lot flatter and i did get in a pair of 12 jeans today instead of 14.

Exercise....this is my goal this coming week, I havent done anything yet and I know I am very unfit, i need to build muscle to boost my metabolism, so im not too hung up on weight I just want a better shape.

What would be the ideal muscle building exercise for a very unfit person, i couldnt face the gym but anything else im up for.

I lost 4 1/2 lb this week, i know the first week is normally loads of crappy water etc but im so chuffed. Just shows if you put your mind to it ( or Paul McKenna does lol) that I can still eat lovely food but just not over eat.

Today : porridge, tin of soup (busy day), and sirloin steak, mushrooms, tomato and houlomi cheese grilled.

Roughly a stone left to go, just really need to get into some exercise, 30 day shred dvd is still looking at me from the side with its cellophane on.

Edit: eat rest of the tub of couscous and an impromtu visit to the pub so 4 vodkas and diet coke.

At last I faced my demons and stuck 30 day shred in the dvd player....as i thought, press up type things killed me, no upper body strenght at all. Didnt realise i needed hand weights, so will pick some up tomorrow, had to shout DH to bring me a glass of water half way through. Im not very stretchy but hope that will improve.

Breakfast boiled eggs. lunch buffalo mozerela tomato mixed salamis and roasted peppers from a jar. Tea venison stew from a lookwhatwefound packet and a sweet potato. Also an apple.

Tried green tea for the first time today, its ok actually.

Claire21be careful you don't overdo things. If you are not used to physical exercise then easy and slow should be the motto.

Remember it is the Paul McKenna program you are following not Paul McKenna and X,Y and Z. Stick with Paul for the first few weeks and then ease into an exercise regime.
