    Hello,

I had my two week check on Friday, no change in weight but have lost 1 cm from belly and another one from bum so my running trainin is doing its job and obviously I am not over compensating it with eating thanks to PMK. I find eating conciously ever so difficult. This is the area I really need to concentrate on during next couple of weeks before my next chek.

Hi Everyone, is anyone out there still doing this? I have been doing it on and off for a couple of years - lost weight and kept some of it off but I find that you do have to focus to get this right and I have started again today.

Have eaten every couple of hours as i am not eating much (just until satisfied) so I just eat again when I get hungry. So far today I have eaten 3/4 of a slice of brown toast, one egg for brekkie. Quarter of a peanut butter sandwich for break. Half a prawn noodle salad for llunch and then 4 peices of suchi and other quarter of sandwich! Not been full at any point.

I have also been really focussing on no distractions when i am eating which I must say is hard as i am the queen of watching TV, reading and surfing the net while I am eating so forcing myslef to just eat has been hard. I do think that has been why Ihave been quite succesful today though.

Also drinking a lot more water and trying to visualise and think positively about my weight loss. i.e not thinking I don't want to be over weight but thinking I want to be a comfortable size twelve and wear gorgeous summer clothes!

Would love to hear from anyone else doing PMK!!!!

    xx

    Hi spuddy1

I must admit that I fell off the PMK wagon a little while ago but have not put on any weight which is good news. You have given me the incentive to start again. When I followed the programme a couple of months ago, it did work. I had a bit of a stressful time with family issues and fell back into my old eating habits but found I was still eating consciously at times but ignored my hunger pangs and stomach full signals.

It's like most diet programmes. You have to stick with it for it to work! I'll be listening to the mind programming technique tonight.

Good luck and let me know how you get on.

Count me in too to start again. Will re-read the book tonight and listen CD. I have lost weight slightly but I think this is more due to running than dieting. I too have difficulty with the eating consiously part. I work part time and don't get lunch breaks so I end up snacking at my desk. I do keep healthy stuff in my drawers but too much is too much what ever it is.

Hi Goldengirl and Marru, it is great that you are giving it another go, it is even better when you are not doing it alone. Well the rest of the evening went well for me last night, I had Saag Paneer (spinach and cheese cubes) when I got home at about 6pm and then when my partner got home at 9.30pm I was hungry again so had half a bowl of tomatoe soup. I was hungry for both 'meals' and enjoyed them and stopped before I was full so I feel like it was quite a success yesterday! I also walked to work yesterday and this morning and have drunk plenty of Water.

I am in work now and I am just about to have a small cheese butty for my brekkie as it was just what I fancied!

I find when I am doing PMK properly I feel so much better about myself. I just need to accept that like anything it is hard work and you do have to be focussed to make it work for you - I will do it this time, I turn thrirty next year and I don't want to spend my 30's worrying about what I look like and what others think of me!

Really looking forward to hearing the rest of your updates.

Glad to see this post again, as I started this again as Monday. As the previous poster said when you are doing this you feel good about yourself because you know you are in control. I am so annoyed that I slipped back into my old ways, but onward and upward as they say!

Great to see people getting back into PMK. I also fell off the wagon and have put all the weight back on. I'm starting again, NOW! The programme works brilliantly, but only if you stick to it.

    We can do it :T

    Can I play please?

I've recently got the PMK I Can Make You Thin book and CD and would love to get into it. My problem is that I've just glossed over the book and only listened to the CD twice, so don't feel I've got the proper gist of it.

Think I need to be more disciplined (in more ways than one!) and give the book a proper go and get to bed at a decent time so that I can listen to the CD before passing out dead to the world!

I could do with losing about 10lbs, so not much. My problem is that I'm not very organised so tend to reach for the closest, most convenient bit of food such as crisps, chocolate, yoghurts, nuts etc. For some reason fruit never seems as convenient or satisfying :o .

I'm living in Sydney, Australia at the moment so plan to sign up for the City 2 Surf run (14km) which will be the farthest I've ever run. That's in August so I've got 3 months so would be good to lose some weight and get fit for that. Then by the time its beach weather again here, I'll be nice and svelte :p

    Good luck!

    Hi everyone,

Well I feel like the weekend went reasonably well. I indulged a couple of times and ate until I was full rather than 'satisfied' but I certainly wasn't stuffed and still only ate when I was hungry as that is a big break through. One habit I have managed to crack this weekend that I am very prud of is reaching for the bag of peanuts when I am having a drink, we have got into a terrible habit of snacking when we drink and peanuts are my downfall.

This weekend however I only snacked once when I was having a drink and that was because I was hungry and I had some olives so much better for me than peanuts and I also found that they were what I wanted. My other half tried to force feed me a peanut (jokingly of course) andI found I really didn't even want it in my mouth!

Anyway back in work now so really going to try hard this week to stick with the rules and only eat when I am hungry, eat what I want to eat and stop when I am satisfied, oh and of course the most important part ENJOY EVERY MOUTHFUL!!!!!!! I am also going to try and stick with the eating without distraction, didn't do that as much over the weekend and found it alot harder!

Good luck everyone, please keep each other updated as it is motivational to hear what everyone else is up to.
