Morning all and Reena. Well I woke this morning and felt like my tummy was finally going down after the side effects of the Slimfast. My partner was looking at me really funny yesterday, worrying I could be about to drop a baby!!! Even though I am far to old to do so. :)

I ate a nice breakfast this morning. As a normal person would! It is my birthday today and have to go out for a meal tonight. I am determined to enjoy it but not overeat either.

    Have a good day all.

PS. I meant to add that I have always found Paul McKenna very attractive - I cannot be alone in this surely? :D

  • Lol! I dunno, he's quite sweet in a way, but wouldnt go as far as to say attractive, hehe. Erm, well he will be if this thing works!
Happy birthday larmy16!!! Hope you have a wonderful day and meal and stick to the rules of course.
Lets keep going I guess, although overdid it a bit on the peanut butter, my downfall always.

  • Looking forward to really embracing PMK (not literally, I hate his accent)

    :rotfl:It is a bit mid-Atlantic, isn't it?

I agree with you completely on the diet clubs BTW. They can lead to eating disorders.
  • Oh crap, have carried on eating even when I was full today and its only the second day, hate failing.

There is definately something about him that I like. He's not what I'd call attractive but can't really put my finger on why I like him :o

Reena - don't feel like a failure? Do you expect to change all your ingrained lifelong eating habits in 2 days? No way you're gonna do something like that. I've been trying on and off for months to make a permament change :o We'll get there but only by being kind to ourselves. Making yourself feel carp about something is NOT the best way to motivate yourself xx

  • I've got 3 of Paul McKenna's CD's; Instant Confidence, I Can Make You Sleep, and Stress Relief. Find them all very good, as I sufffer from stress quite a lot and I think they help me. Haven't got IKMYT as not too worried about my weight at the moment.
  • Morning all

Belated happy birthday to larmy16. Did you enjoy your meal?

I've had a few times where I've let my hunger go too far but still managed to leave food on the plate. It's definitely trial and error on this programme with the hunger scale.

I am not looking for a quick fix any more like I used to. I just want to lose weight and maintain it and get out of the binge and diet cycle that I've been doing for many years.

Reena you've had a little hiccup but don't let it get you down. We're all here to encourage each other. Let us know how the rest of the week goes.

I had a blip this weekend not on the food front but overdid it on alcohol. Normally I would really beat myself up about going off a diet plan but yesterday I was focussed and stuck to the four golden rules.

I'm actually enjoying the programme which is something that cannot be said for Cambridge Diet and other slimming clubs I've been to.

I must confess, there's something about Paul McK that I find strangely attractive too!
