Ah I guess I will come and say hello... you brainwashed me! Stupid how I can be shy on an online forum where all people can see is my username lol.
It took me a while but I eventually got through to tescos, ordered my Clubcard Plus application form and also cancelled the delivery, sounded like they are snowed under! (pardon the pun :rotfl: ) Even better, they gave me my ten pound voucher back and next time I order online they will knock the delivery charge off so all in all an OK deal.
And randomly (I guess I must have signed up at some point but don't remember it) some guy rang me up asking me what size and colour I wanted for a free pair of pretty polly tights!
No money to pay, I think it's for something where you order tights and they get delivered to your door but he didn't ask for any bank details so I guess the sample comes with an order form. Not complaining!
I have to psyche myself up to go back to work tomorrow now, lovely having the day off but it doesn't half put you out for the rest of the week!

I'd rather do a PAD than a NSD. At least more is coming off the debt instead of nothing happening at all.
What's this Clubcard Plus? Sounds like something that could benefit me! I'll have a look into that.
Yeah these clicks aren't all good, got a call the other day from a company asking if I wanted help with my debt, Yes but not from yourselves sorry!
Very well done against Walsall, hopefully your guard will be down when Oldham come to town

Hello

Another snow day but I MUST do some work so have allocated myself a 'lunch hour' lol. It's nice to be off but I've got so much to do, and it's putting a bit of a freeze (geddit :rotfl:) on my debt free plans - I was supposed to have a meeting about tutoring today so that I could start it next week, now it will have to be rearranged for next week so I won't be able to start till after half term. Oh well, guess the money will still be earned at some point.
Clubcard plus is where you pay money onto your card then use it to pay with in Tesco. You can't use it anywhere else, and it's like a debit card so you have to 'load' it before you can use it, but basiclly if you put your grocery/petrol money on there and use it to pay with in Tesco you get double points. You have to call up to get the app form though, you can't do it online or anything. In fact on MSE is about the only place you can even find info on it, do a search on here and it should come up.
Hehe yeah was chuffed with that result, nice to see goals coming from all over too I did think a while back we need to be careful we're not relying on Matty Fryatt too much. We'll see about Saturday - it's like a different team this year but after the inconsistencies of last season I still don't trust them compltely to do the job untill I see it with my own eyes - even on tuesday night I was thinking, here we go can they hold on to the lead...?!
Update on yesterday, I made a PAD of a pound and will do the same today along with any odd pence on top of that, I might add the cost of a chocolate bar onto that too as I was tempted to nip out for one earlier but resisted! Did the shopping yesterday and got petrol but being as they were budgeted for I shall still count it as an NSD
. 5/5 so far because I definitely won't be venturing out today! Today I spent £6 on some of those perfume oils for my mate, she's trying the Armani Code, Hypnose and getting a Cool Waters for her b/f and if they are any good I might get some too. She's giving me the money back on Saturday so technically I didn't spend that
. Have you seen them they look like quite a good idea http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=869985 I think the actual website is perfume parlour or similar to that, the link will be in that thread.
Right going to make my PAD now whilst I think about it, back later (no doubt!)

Oooh get me I didn't come back, got carried away with some stupid game on miniclip :rotfl: not that it matters as no-one ever reads this anyway haha. I don't care I find it useful, amazed I've kept it up this long actually usually I'm crap at this stuff.
PAD of £1.50 today (must add that to my sig actually) I checked my bank and all the payments have gone out now however I am already in my overdraft by £200 (would have been ok if bloody b/f had given me the extra 250 he was supposed to and if it weren't for travelodge). So I have about £100 available in my bank account to last me the month.
I have got a tenner in my purse and £60 owed from a friend so am going to try and live off that for the month. I have a full tank of petrol which should last a fair while as it's half term soon so no driving to work.
I should be paid on the 27th as the 28th falls on a saturday, so it shouldn't be too bad... My PAD's might shrink down to pennies though!
Have spoilt my run of NSD's by buying a bottle of wine and a choccy bar, but hey it's the weekend and I need something to keep me going as I have a weekend full of lesson planning in front of me, Ofsted doing their inspection next week  It's annoying because half the stuff is just purely for their benefit, I know exactly what I will be teaching but I have to have it all written up into a specified format so that they can see that I know that... gotta be done though.
Tomorrow I shall be going into town in the day so will probably end up buying lunch somewhere, I'll have a search actually and see if there are any two-for-ones or anything on that I can print off. I do need (yes, actually NEED!) to buy some make up and stuff but I have a Boots card that I got for xmas that I can use for that, plus all my advantage points. Got about 35 quid on there at the minute! Then football in the evening, random time for a Saturday match but bring it on Oldham...

Well Oldham certainly brought it! Finally put in a performance, really good game. I didn't go to the game couldn't justify paying £23 when it was on the telly and Leicester were only paying £8? That's very wrong!
Keep it up, your doing great, unfortunaely it's come to the slow part of the month, just gotta keep gong and do what you can. It'll soon be payday!Keep the Faith!0 -
Tell me about it, I was very worried at one point! Can't believe we didn't capitalise on you having a 39 year old, overweight striker in goal
and only ten men, what a wasted opportunity! I think really the teams were pretty well balanced, credit to your defence we just couldn't get past them they closed us down every time. But come on Fryatt, how the hell does a striker like him hit wide on a penalty . Still a point gained!
Lol you could have come and sat in the leicester end...
They did a cheapy offer for us lot because they were worried no one would turn up if they could watch it on telly for free!
Yeah I'm glad it's a short month this time, still I've been looking at what I actually ned to spend and it isn't too bad really, I only need to buy veg for dinners this month, got the rest in so am gonna go to lidl for that whcih means the weeks shopping should come to less than a tenner. I do need hamster bedding but thats only a couple of quid and b/f is paying for it as its his turn!
Petrol I should only need another tenner in at the most, will do that next time I'm at tesco so I can get clubcard points on it :j.
A couple of things to motivate me...
 I hit £100 PAD's yesterday, in 7 days that isn't bad! I'm gonna see what I can do the rest of this month even if it's pennies, but as I'm already into my overdraft they'll have to come out of my everyday money, which there isn't alot of! Will see about todays later.
:DI went into town and to the football yesterday and only actually spent £1.10 on parking and £1.50 on a cuppa at the football. My friend gave me £40 of the money she owes me and also bought me lunch as it's her turn, we shared the parking, and the other stuff I needed I bought on my Boots gift voucher - I now have 35 quids worth of advantage card points! I even managed to resist the most gorgeous shoes in the world...
:pLost is on tonight so I can chill with a bottle of wine and watch Sawyer looking hot!
Can't think of any more and I need to start getting some prep done for next week - i turned the computer on at 9am and have spent 45 minutes faffing about

I don't think it helped us that our 39 year old, overweight striker was better in goal than he was upfront! England's number 1!

Was a very even game, if only we could play like that every game. Heart was in my mouth when Cleverley nearly scored, going mad at the telly when our striker was through on goal and slipped over!
I never thought to try and go in the Leicester end, £8 for a game like that would have been good but I don't think I could have sat on my hands for 90 minutes!
Well done on hitting £100 in PAD's good going and well done on resisting the gorgeous shoes! You'll be able to treat yourself soon!Keep the Faith!0 -
Well done on the £100 in PADs. It's nice to hit a wee milestone with it isn't it?
I'm going to be making small PADs until payday too I think. I do the weekly spending challenge, where I take out cash and try not to spend too much of a set budget. Anything I have left in cash I generally pay to my debts (Apart from this week when I rewarded myself with a haircut for not spending any of my budget!) Have a wee look, the thread is here:

I always seem to find it easier not to spend when I know I have a challenge - like doing PAD. If I was just saying to myself "I must pay some money off my cards" I would just spend it on rubbish!0 -
It's bloody brilliant to hit a milestone! Nice to actually see that something is happening, and also knowing that that 100 quid is on top of the payments I would be making anyway. Quite scary actually. Only did a penny today but I'm trying to keep up the habit. Might join the weekly challenge thing in March when I have a bit more of a budget - I tried to make a budget for feb but it went out the window thanks the bf and his bloody wages. At the minute I'm just trying to get by on as little as possible.
For lunches this week I have made a huge batch of tuna pasta salad which is in the fridge and being scooped out as needed, won't last the whole week but will take us most of the way there. Have just had beans on toast for dinner lol :money:
Have done my daily clicks and now chilling watching Scrubs and looking at mse enjoy your evenings all x xThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...
