Hello

Well Ofsted is all over, we did OK which is nice to know. And the bonus is only 2 days till half term :T .
Have made pad's totalling 2.48 (not great but I'm trying, honest!) and continued with the daily clicks. I'm going to try and set myself a target next week when I'm off - apart from the grocery shopping and PAD's, I am not going to spend ANYTHING at all from sunday to sunday. We'll see how that goes lol.
Supposed to be going out tomorrow night to a fundraising thing - sound awful but I'mgoing to have to be really tight as I have under £100 to get to payday - hence the challenge above! On a brighter note, I had the tutoring meeting today and will start tutoring after half term which means the end-of-march payday should give me around an extra 275 (before tax but cba to work that out!) I'm gonna put that straight towards my debts, most likely the barclaycard - may even be able to pay that off next month actually as there is only around £300 on there at the minute. That will mean more money to pump into the A&L which is the biggie really. The overdraft is 0% so not too worried about that, might up the payment by a tenner or so possibly, I'll do a snowball and see whats what.
Have a beast of a headache so will do a few clicks then probably go and have a lie down,

Well get me I have finally done it... I listed some items on Ebay! Only 4 things but I don't really have much stuff that is sellable, I have no idea how people manage to make hundreds a month on there they must have nothing left! Most of my junk is actually junk and only fit for the bin.
A little list is in order methinks - I have been losing focus a bit recently because I have been so skint so here goes -
Things I Have Done In Feb To Be Debt Free- Made PAD's of over £100 - they are kind of ending up being P-everyfew-D's because the internet banking won't let me do less than a pound but it's getting there.
- Been to the planning meeting for tutoring which will start after half term - finally!
- Listed some bits on Ebay.
- Sorted out a load of other random bits (CD's, DVD's, books etc) that we are going to take to a car boot when the weather is a bit nicer. Just gonna sell them for between 50p and £1 to get rid of them.
- Continued with Daily Clicks even though they are so bloody boring but getting far quicker.
- Tried to use cashback sites more - I haven't actually bought anything this month but I have made a list of things that I will need so that I can get them through cashback sites.
- Meal planned and kept to a shopping budget of £50 so far whoop!
- Made myself a challenge to spend NOTHING over half term - we'll see how that goes!
It's wierd this DFW thing - I find myself wishing my life away wanting it to be the next payday so I can pay more money off my debts! I think it's because at the minute not much progress is happening - from now on the extra income should start, first of all from tutoring then in July is the exam marking, I usually manage to get a few shifts of bar work during the summer holidays as well. I'm still determined to pay everything off by the end of this year - I bloody well will do it!

It looks like you've had a really good month - well done!!0

Thanks FF, sometimes it feels like you are getting nowhere but most of the time it's not through want of trying!
I had a pretty productive day today, an NSD as stayed in but I also got my next assignment done ready to send off tomorro :j plus a load of planning for the tutoring I will be doing.
I have also sneakily turned off the morning heating as we don't need it on any more, we had a bit of an argument about it yesterday as bf was moaning it is too cold in the morning - it's so not this is the warmest house I know! So I have turned it off so the only heating now is for about an hour in the evening. Bet he won't even notice :rotfl:
Off now to slob about and watch telly - and as this diary has become more about the losing £'s than losing lb's, I'm going to treat myself to some chocolate! Diet starts after half term...

Not long now until payday! I'm counting the days down as well. Hurry up!
Your still doing something towards your debts so you should be proud of your efforts. All this hard work should mean less you have to do in the future, cutting the time you have the debt.Keep the Faith!0 -
Yeah you're right Hallam, I guess its what everyone on here is doing really isn't it, baby steps! Only 7 days to payday now woop!
I've just been doing some budgeting in anticipation of the BIG DAY :rotfl:and have worked out that I am probably going to be able to get the Barclaycard paid off in March, and/or explain in a minute) get rid of my A&L overdraft - they will be shocked, I've been living out of it since I've had the account!
The plan:
Feb 27th Payday- BF pays £150(we both work for the council so get paid on the same day, handy) to A&L account.
- BF pays £250 to HSBC account. This becomes the everyday spending account.
- Once all the bills and minimum payments have come out (including £100 to barclaycard - that not the minimum btw!) his £150 will leave me with about £4 credit in the account.
- Use up to the limit on my other 0% OD to pay of as much of the barclaycard as I can - reckoning about £80 at least).
- Assuming a balance of £300 on the barclaycard, as I haven't had the statement yet, this will leave the balace at around £120.
My salary is about £300 more than the bills that come out, the only reson I've been so skint is beause I've been in the overdraft anyway and plus sorting out cars/boyfriends so with the March payday I will easily pay off the OD and have a couple of hundred surplus for paying off debts, whilst living off the £400 from bf. :j My finances will actually look like my SOA! Thats the plan anyway, I've been saying that since December lol. Just hope it all works!
And in other news today...
BONG>>>>I've continued with my daily clicks which are slowly getting there, I am anticipationg a payout aroundabout May 2045... :rotfl:
BONG>>>> I've had bids on two of my ebay items of A PENNY EACH!! But they don't end untill sunday so plenty of time for a bidding war to ensue. Surpisingly, the most watched item, which 3 people have asked me about and 9(!) people are watching is an old graphic calculator from my A level days, with no batteries??? I guess it's true what they say about the most random things selling.
BONG>>>>I have had an email from the teacher at the primary school telling me that yes, tutoring will start on Monday with the second child to start on Wednesday, thats £50 extra I will earn next week
And Finally, Silaqui is sitting here writing silly lists to get here out of doing some work. Oh wait thats not news thats just normal!

Hello!
Back again, can't believe it's nearly the end of half term already!
I'm so bad, I haven't been keeping track of any of my PAD's or NSD's  but I have made my marvellous plan as outline above lol. I have also been making little PAD's to the take that fund of loose change. Discovered that the HSBC in town has one of the loose change paying in machines so I shall have to lug it all down there soon and pay it in.
I went to watch my mate's boyfriend play rugby today and had a maccy d's, not had one of them in ages but my friend had some vouchers for big mac and fries for £1.99. Not bad, big mac and a pint in front of the rugby lol.
My ebay stuff is coming along pretty well - bids of around £15 total on 4 bits of random junk. They end tomorrow so I'll be watching with bated breath!

Woohoo I made £33 from my ebay stuff  gonna wait untill it's all showing on my paypal thing then transfer it straight to account then to one of the debts as a PAD :T Might have to put a few more bits on - not sure if theres anything else worth selling though that was about the cream of the crop. It's actually quite exciting watching the bids go up in the last few minutes hehe (or is that a bit sad...):p
Not much happening tonight, I am waiting for tonights lost and getting stuff ready for work tomorrow. Just heard an advert for the Simpsons in High Definition - how can you get a cartoon in HD???
Today's PAD was about 50p to the TT fund, daily clicks done and hamster cleaned out, this is a rambling post I know, may have something to do with the wine I have had so far hehe.

Well done on the ebay sales, that's pretty good going! Every little bit helps to bring that debt down. Are you going to be putting more stuff on soon?
Not sure how you get a cartoon in HD, surely it already is?Keep the Faith!0 -
Hiya!
Yeah I know, a cartoon is just block colours anyway how can you 'define' it any more than that?? lol.
Firstly a summary of February, not a massively good month but still a start - a copy of the signature.CC1: £3086, CC2: £330, Overdraft: £961OK PAD's, not too bad considering I was so skint at the end of the month - I have worked out that I will be able to pad more than this in the first week of march though so get in!
Feb PAD Total: £124.65...! Daily ClicksAND CASHBACK (started Jan 09): Total: 199.20 NSD February: lost count!..!
Daily clicking and cashback sites, I added all the 'pendings' up to get a total of 199.20 with £82 of that somewhere in the ether on it's way to my bank, not too bad I guess!
I lost count with the NSD's at about 7 but I know I had more than that - I'll do it properly in March I promise!
Totals, well CC1 is now at £2982, CC2 is £282 and the OD is back up to £999 so I have paid off a total of £152 from the CC's but had to spend on the overdraft to buy petroll to get me to sheffield at the end of the month. However that is a 0% for a while yet so it isn't a total disaster.
Well the first stage of my March Plan is well on it's way, PAD made today of 60 odd quid.
I have 250 untouched (so far!) in my shiny new HSBC account and enough in the A&L to cover all the bills/payments including a £200 payment to the barclaycard. This will take me back into my overdraft but I'll be out of it next month so for the sake of a fiver I'm going to pay the cc off, using the 82 (handy amount lol) that is coming from topcashback. Then that account will pretty much manage itself as the monety I leave in will be enough to cover bills with a small buffer.
I also have about £17 in my purse which should last me at least till the end of the week - all the shopping is done and I have more than enough work to do to keep me away from any shops so I'll be pretty cross with myself if it isn't enough!
Right off to do some work now, need to plan a couple of lessons for tutoring so that I can earn my extra money properly :T
