I can't believe how fast this month has gone? It only feels like 5 minutes since I last did this. Anyway...
END OF OCTOBER UPDATETHIS SIGNATURE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
DFW Date July 2010... DFB #9 - Debt Free by my 26th Birthday!
CC1: [strike]£3000[/strike] £2354.68, CC2:[strike] £330 [/strike] £0 and closed!, Overdraft: [strike]£961[/strike] £377, Personal Loan: [STRIKE]£3323[/STRIKE] £2647
October PAD Total: £383.88....! Weight Loss (since 10th May): 23lb...!
THE DEBT FREE DATE:-
Still on for this. It should be doable and then I can treat myself in August!
THE A&L CARD:-
Still padding to this as my priority. I've played around with the snowball and even though the overdraft debt is at 0%, I've decided to keep the ordinary payments the same as it doesnt make a huge amount of difference to anything apart from stretching out the lenght of the debts. Psychologically I'd rather be rid of the overdraft early next year (as I've had it since my student days) and then concentrate on just the credit card.
THE OVERDRAFT:-
Will be paid off by [STRIKE]January[/STRIKE] February (miscalulated before), still 0% and steadily being paid off.
PAD'S:-
My total PAD to date is £2913.25 since the beginning of March when I joined the thread. Wooo:T:T:T some clappy people because I should smash through the 3k barrier this month.
A comment on the WEIGHT LOSS:-
I still haven't been to the gym...
but I've keep the good eating habits and my clothes aren't getting any tighter so thats a good sign!

CC1: [strike]£3000[/strike] £2098.13, CC2:[strike] £330 [/strike] £0 and closed!, Overdraft: [strike]£961[/strike] £375.58, Personal Loan: [STRIKE]£3323[/STRIKE] £2647
November PAD Total: £347.25....! Weight Loss (since 10th May): 23lb...!THE DEBT FREE DATE:- Still good - I'm determined to hit this!
THE A&L CARD:-
This is steadily going down (although I don't know the exact amount as I haven't had my statement yet). I have actually started noticing a difference as my payments are making more of a dent in it now that the interest is lower.
THE OVERDRAFT:-
I was naughty and used this this month as it's 0%. I've juggled around with the finances though, and used some of my spends and grocery budgets to add an extra payment to this. So currently standing at £375.58, actually thats better than I thought, no change in the total level of debt here. It'll take me a little longer to pay off though.
PAD'S:-
My total PAD to date is £3260.60 since the beginning of March when I joined the thread. YES I GOT TO 3K!!!!
A comment on the WEIGHT LOSS:-
well, ok - no comment. But at least I haven't put on!Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...

END OF DECEMBER UPDATE!!! (Yes I know it's late - didn't have the internet!!)
THIS SIGNATURE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
DFW Date July 2010... DFB #9 - Debt Free by my 26th Birthday!
CC1: [strike]£3000[/strike] £1890.79, CC2:[strike] £330 [/strike] £0 and closed!, Overdraft: [strike]£961[/strike] £377, Personal Loan: [STRIKE]£3323[/STRIKE] £2647
December PAD Total: £427.10....! Weight Loss 23lb...!
THE DEBT FREE DATE:- I'm still aiming for this, although it has suffered a bit of a setback due to the OH having his lightbulb moment. I am going to lend him some money to pay off an urgent debt, but I'm hoping that it should only put me back by a month or two - and if I tighten my belt with the groceries and 'spends' budgets I can still do this.
THE A&L CARD:-
Below £2000 now!!! Hooray! Still chucking money at this one and it's definitely nice to see the change in the amount of interest I'm paying. I would switch it to a 0% card (as it's at 34.9%) but I got rejected from all the ones I applied for and I'm gonna need to wait a while now for my credit file to get back to normal. But at least I'm keeping on top of it.
THE OVERDRAFT:-
This is now maxed out again for the reason mentioned above. I'm gonna divert some extra funds to paying it off reasonably quickly. We'll see how it pans out.PAD'S:-
My total PAD to date is £3687.70 since the beginning of March when I joined the thread. I managed to pay loads off this month! Shame it's not gonna happen in Jan lol
A comment on the WEIGHT LOSS:-
meh... it's been Christmas! Back on the wagon when the snow and Christmas chocs have gone!
Back to the grindstone...

END OF JANUARY UPDATE
THIS SIGNATURE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
DFW Date July 2010... DFB #9 - Debt Free by my 26th Birthday!
CC1: [strike]£3000[/strike] £1890.79, Overdraft: £961
January PAD Total: £193.08....! Weight Loss 23lb...!THE DEBT FREE DATE:- Still going for this, I managed live off just £150 groceries including petrol, and £100 other spends last month so if I can do this again it should be all good.THE A&L CARD:-
Still plugging away at this, not made as much progress this month but as a well known supermarket says, every little helps!THE OVERDRAFT:-
Gonna do my regular £100 a month to this until bf starts paying rent again, then I need to get it back under £500 asap so I don't get charged interest.
PAD'S:-
My total PAD to date is £3880.78 since the beginning of March when I joined the thread. Not as big a jump as I was hoping. Can't belive next month I will have been padding for a whole year! To hit the 4000 mark for that milestone I will need to pad in feb - £119.22 that should be do able! Mind you some of the threads on DFW are amazing, how on earth do people manage to pay off like 20k in a year and things like that? Thats almost as much as I earn! I know it's not really the attitude to have, but it always makes me wonder, if people can afford to repay that much in a year, how did they get into debt in the first place! But you never know peoples situations. And who am I to judge!
A comment on the WEIGHT LOSS:-
Have started back at the gym but not weighed myself yet - at the minute I'm torn between going to the gym every night, and the cost of the petrol it takes to get me there! Will have to start making more use of my Davina DVD's I think, but I don't tend to put as much effort in when I can feel the pull of the sofa behind me!
So, ONWARDS>>>>>

THIS SIGNATURE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
DFW Date July 2010... DFB #9 - Debt Free by my 26th Birthday!
CC1: £3000 £1864.63, Overdraft: £801.93
February PAD Total: £193.83....! Weight Loss 23lb...!
THE DEBT FREE DATE:- Still on course
THE A&L CARD:-
Again I haven't paid as much to this as I would have hoped but should be able to up the PADS again this month so should get back on track with it.THE OVERDRAFT:-
Still working on this one, but it's low interest to not a priority at the moment.PAD'S:-
My total PAD to date is £4074.61 since the beginning of March when I joined the thread. Yay for getting over 4k! :j Thats pretty good for a year and although it's not much compared to some people, its horrible to think that I would have wasted all that on god knows what if I hadn't been padding! I want to pay a bit more off this month, it won't be back to loads but I'll jolly well try!

CC1: [strike]£3000[/strike] £1864.63, Overdraft: £894.93
MarchPAD Total: £367.99....! Weight Loss 23lb...!
THE DEBT FREE DATE:- Don't think I'll meet this to be honest. However it gives me something to aim for, and I'll be able to judge how far I've got left to go.THE A&L CARD:-
I haven't got the updated statement yet but it'll be less than this obviously. I don't even know where the card is so haven't been spending on it but to counter that I haven't been padding as much to it either, so it's not going to be much less than this.THE OVERDRAFT:-
Still working on this. I need to get this below £500 asap to avoid the (admittedly minimal) charges - however I need to balance this with paying off the higher interest CC.PAD'S:-
My total PAD to date is £4372.37 since the beginning of March 2009 when I joined the thread. I'm definitely going to carry on with the pad mentality when I'm debt free!A comment on the WEIGHT LOSS:-
I've not been so bad this month, even thought it's been Easter - I've definitely cut down on my junk intake but I just need to get back to the gym, thats how I lost it last time. I haven't weighed myself though so that will have to stay the same.

April PAD Total: £359.60....! Weight Loss 23lb...!
THE DEBT FREE DATE:- Not a chance of meeting this, and in fact, although I've been using this as an incentive I'm going to do an updated snowball/debt calculator and try and get this more realistic.THE A&L CARD:-
I wish my statement arrived in time for these updates! I can't honestly remember what it was as I forgot to update it last time, but I will do soon when the next statement arrives.THE OVERDRAFT:-
This is on it's way down again, but still a long way to go. Now I'm back to having a bit of 'spare' money I should really pay this off quicker, but it's so hard to decide where to pay the money to!PAD'S:-

END OF May UPDATE
DFW Date July 2010... DFB #9 - Debt Free by my 26th Birthday!
CC1: [strike]£3000[/strike] £2273.32, Overdraft: £0!!!
May PAD Total: £1136.61....! Weight Loss 23lb...!
Wow - end of May already! I ca't believe how fast the months are flying by!!
THE DEBT FREE DATE:- Well. At £400 a month which is my average payment, the snowball calculator tells me I should have this paid off by December. I'm going to update my DFD to January 2011 because July is just looking unrealistic - anything earlier than that is a bonus. I've probably mentioned on here that I have a personal loan as well that I don't include because I budgeted for it, it's low rate and it's a fixed payment anyway. Thats up in January - so if I can get this paid off as well then I'll be totally debt free in Jan 2011!THE A&L CARD:-
This is standing at around £2200. Tried yesterday to get a 0% balance transfer but failed yet again, I've tried about once every 6 months to get one but it's just not happening, I have no idea why as all my credit files are green throughout and I'm on the electoral roll. My income is fairly high compared to outgoings (not including pads
) as well! Guess it's just a sign of the times, I bet 5 years ago I wouldn't have had a problem! I was given this CC with a 2k limit as an 18 year old off to uni with no income!
THE OVERDRAFT:-
Gone!!! Thanks to finding an old savings account that I'd forgotten about  I've also closed the account to reduce the credit amount on my file. I've had this overdraft for 5 years now so glad to see it gone, even thought it wasn't my most expensive debt I'm glad to see it gone so I can just concentrate on the one card.PAD'S:-
I had a great month for PADding this month - mostly thanks to the aforementioned savings account! My total PAD to date is £5868.58 since the beginning of March 2009 when I joined the thread. I'm pretty pleased with that! :j
A comment on the WEIGHT LOSS:-
Well, after months of non commital comments in this section, I am pleased to say I have now got off my arris - I have started running 3 times a week (by started, I mean, I've done it once - but I'm determined to keep going!). Haven't lost anything yet that I know of but once I get back into the exercising I will start weighing myself again.
All in all, not a bad month

CC1: [strike]£3000[/strike] £2273.32 The final target!
June PAD Total: £230.92....! Weight Loss 23lb...!
THE DEBT FREE DATE:- Still sticking to Jan 11 to be totally debt free, still should be on target according to snowballs and spreadsheets. I'm due for a biggish payment for some extra marking work I've done so will be putting this to the cause! I haven't paid much this month due to other circumstances but should be making this right this time.THE A&L CARD:-
I didn't pay much off this last month so it hasn't gone down much, the latest statement hasn't arrived yet so I will update this when I get it. I am padding like mad to this card though.PAD'S:-
The less said the better, a measly amount padded this month. I blame the boyfriend! :rotfl: My total PAD to date is now £6099.50 since the beginning of March 2009 when I joined the thread. (Thats really annoying that I didn't find the extra 50p from somewhere lol)

CC1: [strike]£3000[/strike] £2273.32 The final target!
July PAD Total: £617.36....!
THE DEBT FREE DATE:- Still sticking to Jan 11 to be totally debt free, but I do need to step it up a bit to meet this target. I am due for a payrise at the end of September and am going to set up a standing order to pay this additional amount to my CC so I don't miss it. I do need to curb my spending a bit though and get back to basics!
THE A&L CARD:-
Which is now an MBNA card because of the A&L/Santander thing, and I have internet banking for it now! SO I can tell you that there is still £1798.29 to pay on this card which I MUST SORT!!!
PAD'S:-
My total PAD to date is now £6716.86 since the beginning of March 2009 when I joined the thread. Pleasing, but must keep going!
A comment on the WEIGHT LOSS:-
For the first time in ages, I have lost some! I've got back on the wagon and exercised every day, and made sure I have been healthy eating. Only a 2lb loss so far, but I'm optimistic!Time for August...Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...
