Whoops I let me own thread slip off the bottom of my hotlist lol! Shows how interesting it must be! :rotfl:

I hope they hurry up about it though, you're right FF about the interest. So annoying to have paid off say £150 and half of it goes stright back on in interest! Abbey have looked at my credit file though so hopefully I should get some correspondance from them soon. I hope the electoral roll debacle hasn't affected anything though...

Good Day today  Leicester City promoted! I have a lot a friends who work at the club from when I used to work there so it's good news for them, they are such a huge club I don't think they could have survived long in League 1 just simply from the lack of money to be made.

Not doing too bad moneywise, I spent the last 5er that I told myself I could spend this week on lunch with a friend today which was nice in the sunshine! I have got about £50 quid in HSBC and £8 in my purse, plus £40 (I think) on my CC+ grocery budget. SO I shouldn't need to spend any of my own money on food as I will use cc+ for any extra that we need. It'll only be bits anyway. I worked out that I have spent £84 on groceries this month. Not bad at all!

Going to try and spend just my £8 this week - I *should* manage it! Going cinema tomoro which is free tickets and because it's a morning showing I doubt I'll be wanting snacks. I take my own drinks anyway, and the b/f can pay for the parking :p Then back to work so won't really be the opportunity to spend any money.

    12 DAYS TILL PAYDAY!!!

    xx

Thanks FF!! Unfortunately I didn't get it but hey ho...

Have been finding it much easier not to spend now that I'm back at work, problem with being off is that it's all to easy to decide to go into town, or round the shops, or whatever! But I haven't spent anything in the last two days so yay me!

Ach well, it's valuable interview experience for the next time, well done for trying :T

Extra well dones for the NSDs, something I'm struggling with this month :rotfl:

You got anything nice planned for the rest of the week?

Cheers, I've stopped bothering with NSDs to be honest, I always forget to count them and then I forget I've even had them!
I think it helped me to count them up when I first had my proper LBM because it helped me to keep an eye on my spending. Now that I'm more in the habit of it, I don't go mad if I have to nip into a shop or something, so I don't now pop in for milk and come out with magazines, snacks, and various special offers!

I noticed earlier that I've got a chip in my windscreen! It's tiny, and over on the passenger side, but I don't want it to crack and end up costing me a fortune. Only problem is, I'm not fully comp so can't get it done on the insurance however I am going to renew fully comp in september - I wonder if it will last till then? Might have to ask on the motoring board actually!
Thats the great thing about this site you can ask anything and theres always someone with some good advice.

First of all congratulations to your Leicester City, have fun in the Championship! :j Our season has gone well a little flat!

Good to see you're still progressing well in reducing your debt.

About the chip in your windscreen, I would get it looked at, will cost less to repair than getting a new windscreen.
    Keep the Faith!

Cheers Hallam! It was a great atmosphere at our last home game, absolutely brilliant. You never know though we might be back down again next year! I'm not gonna count my chickens just yet!

Well it's that time again... PAYDAAAAAAAYYYYYY and time to do my update for the month! Just gotta find the last one...

Right got it - so, signature as of 30th April 2009 is
Snowball Date: June 2010 ……. CCFW Date: December 2009 ......DFW Date: July 2010
    CC1: [strike]£3000[/strike] £2955, CC2:[strike] £330 [/strike] £0!, Overdraft: [strike]£961[/strike] £889, Personal Loan: £3323
    April PAD Total: £265.54...! Daily Clicks&Cashback Pending(started Jan 09): Total:£247.66...!

    THE DEBT FREE DATE:-
I'm sticking with December as the date for getting rid of all my crappy credit cards and overdrafts. Thanks to the DFB thread, I've added a second date with is when I want to be totally debt free, by overpaying the loan. It's due to be paid off in Jan 2011 anyway so it'll be only 6 months knocked off. I'll decide when it comes to it whether to overpay, or just save the cash and pay off the loan as planned.
But, mustn't lose sight of the primary target - December 2010!!!

    THE A&L CARD:-
Hmmm - actually I don't know the new total for this! I have been making my pads to it so it should be a bit lower. Still waiting on Abbey to get back to me to see if I can get their interest free balance transfer.

    THE BARCLAYCARD:-
    what Barclaycard?

    THE OVERDRAFT:-
Payment has been upped and will be being paid off at £100 a month from the 3rd. This will take care of itself now, gone by November!

    PAD'S:-
My total PAD to date is £920.77 since the beginning of March when I joined the thread. Woop woop!

    DAILY CLICKS:-
Whoops haven't updated this! SO far I have £285.37 tracked and have had about £150 of that paid out. This money has, of course, gone straight to my debts!!

So, slowly but surely things are happening! Not as quickly as I'd like as my bloody bf has only paid me half rent for the last couple of months. Last month it was because he had to pay for a locksmith and something for his car, and today he has just told me that everyone who works for his section of the council have only been paid a 3rd of their salary. It's not a massive problem as I can easily manage without it, but it isn't the point really. It's just irritating because we worked out a figure mutually based on all the shared bills and what we could both afford. I earn more than him so we agreed to split all the ordinary bills and then I would pay for the food shopping and the phone/internet. And it wrecks my budget every month haha! Ok rant over, sorry love lol.

Better go now and get a bit of work done before bedtime!!

Wow - I have really let this thing slide over the last month! Better do my update and then try and keep at it a bit more - I guess it's because when I mention things on other threads I don't want to repeat myself on here aswell!

I am going to make a few changes to my long term plan I think, and it most probably will affect my debt free dates. My budget assumes that my b/f gives my £400 a month towards rent, food etc which was a figure that we agreed together. However, it's fairly obvious that he isn't actually able to give me that much (yes there was much argumentation!) and so I am going to rebudget assuming a figure of £200. If he give me more, he gives me more but I won't assume it. Annoying, as it doesn't even cover half the rent, but it'll have to do! In fact thinking about it I might actually do a new SOA in a bit as well.

Anyway, to the good bit!! This is my signature as of 30th May 2009

THIS SIGNATURE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS :D
Snowball Date: June 2010 ……. CCFW Date: December 2009 ......DFW Date: July 2010
    CC1: [strike]£3000[/strike] £2762, CC2:[strike] £330 [/strike] £0!, Overdraft: [strike]£961[/strike] £796, Personal Loan: [STRIKE]£3323[/STRIKE] £3154
    May PAD Total: £228.31...!Daily Clicks&Cashback Pending(started Jan 09): Total:£247.66...!

    THE DEBT FREE DATE:-
To be confirmed later when I redo my budget and things. I might alter it and just use my 26th birthday as the debt free wannabe date, it's not too much later than the original one and it's probably a bit more realistic with a cut of £200 per month.

    THE A&L CARD:-
OMG - I am still waiting for Abbey - didn't realise it had been a whole month! I must get onto them about my application to see if I can have this bloody balance transfer! They haven't even sent a confirmation email! They definitely did a credit check as it showed up on my free experian trail thing. Anyway, the balance for this I'm not sure about as haven't had the statement yet, doubt it will be much different though.

    THE OVERDRAFT:-
Still being paid off at £100 a month and I haven't dipped into it so it's all good.

    PAD'S:-
My total PAD to date is £1149.08 since the beginning of March when I joined the thread. A good total but methinks I must try harder, there has been slippage!

    DAILY CLICKS:-
I have been really bad and not kept up with these, and to be honest I doubt that I will do over the summer - going to have to remove them from the siggy I think as my committment has been shameful!

I haven't done too badly but I think I do need to give myself a bit of a boost. Think I will spend tonight faffing with soa's and budgets and stuff to try and motivate myself back on track!

    Back later most likely!

    xx
