Valli/soappie both those houses look great
Ashover is a nice place as well as Matlock. I work not too far from Ashover but in terms of inhabitants they are poles apart :rotfl:
ETA Hugs for lil_me emotional times on so many levels.

and I add my hugs too Lil_me
BTW AnWsMum
Walked into my building soc today (depositing money in bathroom fundand kids xmas money) to see ex OHs auntie behind the counter (she has worked there for 7 weeks) (same surname as you AnWsMum but she used to be a Wilko) so I jokingly said Hello Aunty Jane and the manager said 'you can't serve her if you're related' - we both denied WE were related (cos we're not but she is my DS and DD's great aunt - and not much older than me :rotfl:) am I best avoiding her serving me in future?
Soappie where she works well - there are no longer many 'men' jobs and it is (oh I am going to sound like a snob) not a place you would choose to live really - once was genteel esp the big houses (and there are stunners) but not good now, sadly...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Welcome back triker . I have to say I don't enjoy flying. I cope with it but that's about it. We've always planned to do Disneyworld in a few years but we decided last week we'd go to Disneyland Paris instead because we had friends who went to the Florida one and it was just like you've described. To be honest, it's the other parks I prefer too so if we did to Florida one year (if we came into money:rotfl: ) i'd just do those.
Sorry for that little ramble....absolutely of no interest to anyone else.
Children are upstairs cracking codes in books they brought today. I really must get up and put them to bed....mind you....I think DH can do it because I need a rest :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: xx0 -
That's me Triker - the minute I even KNOW I'm going to step on a plane, three days of panicking before hand, medicinal brandies at 6am and paper bags to hand to help reduce the hyperventilation. As well as tears from the minute I arrive at the airport. Makes a mockery of 'going on holiday'. Which is why I don't get in an airplane anymore. The stress is just not worth it. I now holiday in places which are accessible by car, train or boat!
Disneyland sounds dire! Can you get your money back for the tickets?
Mind you the flight back we hit bad turbulence and the flight arrival time was put back on the board at manchester - twice THEN taken off altogether. Mum had to go and walk round outside - she thought...well you KNOW - what would YOU think if a flight arrival 'disappeared' from the board.
I'm NOT laughing at you - I am laughing at my Mum BTW. Who has valium for flights and is incapable of logical thought for a week before she goes away...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
