Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Matlock I love it there, I have a best friend who lives in Belper Derby. I have not seen her in ages as she has a busy life, and her mum is ill.

Well Sinead is defo back to her self again, going to have to log her do's down again and see if I can get her booked in for a sleep EEG again. They booked her before but I was told the wrong info and I only kept her up a few extra hours. Turns out that I should have kept her awake all night before the test OMG.

She is back to see her consultant for her blood disorder on the 20th so will mention it to him

    Massive hugs Lil_me xx

Valli - I LOVE that house. We're going to Matlock at Easter for a long weekend (in the caravan we haven't got yet) with four other families. Can't wait as I love it round there.

DH is just frying some feta cheese which we're going to have with olives, red peppers and cous cous. The sundaes just weren't enough! xx

Big hugs to lil_me sounds like an emotional whirlpool for you at the moment. hope i didn't put my foot in it on facebook

soappie - a me day sounds lovely. I had a lot of me time today too. feels wonderful!

toots - i sometimes wonder if i need a new job but this one has fixed funding and therefore a fixed contract (3 more years though we'll probably move away before then) which at the moment is an important thing. I also think it's more about me than the job - i let things stress me, esp the boss and the journey!

mudbath - i still ahve £10 of £20 of vouchers I was given last Jan when I left my old job (alongside other things) in my purse. I only spent the other £10 last week! I didn't see the point in buying novels as I use the library, and a lot of other books I just get from amazon or the book people! Eventually i bought a collins gem bird book and wild flower book for when we go walking.

Valli - I'm so jealous. Walking restores my soul. Hope you had all the appropriate buts (torch etc) for the winter... somewhere i have a great poem about walking, wonder if I can find it.

It was - and I'm refusing to feel any tiny smidgeon of guilt. The flat quite up together at the moment so there are no glaring hotspots or dust bowls to look at me accusingly.

I will do something tomorrow though.

Thanks Rach - it's good to know it's not just me who has problems buying full price books. Actually, they were 3 for 2 but it's still expensive! I'm thinking I might get a good reference book with the money but we have a lot of those already so i'll probably go down the giving as presents route! xx

    ***hangs head in shame***
no torch no whistle route from a magazine (no map)
I couldn't read it (no glasses) but I was wearing hiking boots, hat, scarf gloves...
as we came to the last field I could see a street light and diverted off the route (cos it was too dark to read the route anyway)
and all I told the kids was I was going hiking in Matlock -
and my mobile phone was at home (in my pegbag:rotfl:)
I told her next time we take a torch a whistle etc....
    DO NOT copy me!
we did have restorative snacks, hot and cold drinks...

Liberty well done on quitting smoking, i've been of them now since the end of october and i've never felt better (health wise) but i do use the patchs and without them i'm still a nightmare.

I got so fed up of myself for smoking!
It is such a stoopid thing to do!:o
So I have just gone cold turkey!
And it was costing me at least £30 a week!:o
And I have also given up having a glass or 2 of wine a night, because once a bottle was open, it was going to be finished!!!!:o So thats another £20 a week!

So all in all I hope to save at least £50 A WEEK from giving up those nasty habits!:T:A:D:j

Woohoo, I've just crossed off a few more bits that i've done on my list and all that remains is:

post voucher to friend (it's addressed and stamped)
clean washing away (all folded now)
list cds on amazon (when DH sorts them out)
Make an appointment for some ME time

Am happy with that, having a no flying day tomorrow but will probably pop on. We're doing pizza express (with clubcard vouchers) in the evening.

OOh, and forgot to say, lost 3.5lb since last sat, am really pleased with that
