Valli re the BSoc the manager would be right if you were closely related (I am not allowed to serve family or close friends) you were related by marriage only and as you are no longer married to exOH then the rule should not apply, unless you were to be classed as close friends.

Soappie my explanation would be that the natives where I work all mostly interbred and have three eyes :rotfl: :rotfl: whereas in Ashover they are posh!
yeah - cos they carry a spare they 'picked up' on a nite out....

Close friends - naw - I only remember her surname cos she had a badge on and I know someone else with the same surname...;) mind you they are from over your way, almost - I sent you to their local Morrisons for 'cheap' petrol if you recall...

BTW where are the 'down under' Flyladies? Sweating no doubt...

ODDJOB A&E on a sat night? :eek:You all OK? What happened to Izzy? She? ok?

I am going to look for my bleeping phone (that's how I'll find it it's going 'bleep' cos I phoned it to find it and it now has a missed call)

    Hello moring all....thankyou Fly-lady.....

Im okay thanks Its just that I sort of promised myself I wouldn't leave things to be repaired untill that next day this year IYSWIM...

I know exactly what you mean - hope you manage to keep it up - what about giving yourself a bit of time - 5 days or something, that way it takes the pressure off a bit? (mind, if you're like me, i'd start taking 6 then 7, etc, so you might be better staying as you are) good luck!
Flower (((hugs))) you are going to need them today after no sleep

    Hiya
Quick question for anyone with a caravan and you can PM your reply if you'd rather or you can tell me not to be nosy!! We're looking at storage places and I was wondering what sort of cost i'd have to pay? Any ideas at all? xx

Some insurers will only insure if you use one of these storage facilities. Ours has been in one since we bought it because we can't store it at home and it advertises the fact when you are away. Expect to pay between £250 and £300 per year for a single axle van and a bit more for twin axle.

Have already had a PM exchange with Valli. Fortunately, my relatives were from the posh Ashover area :rotfl:

  • Just looking and being nosey I'm afraid1! Though am quite hopeful on a young couple who have viewed a property today for the 2nd time, First time buyers, so great for the vendors if they put in an offer. I'm nosey which is probably why I like the job so much! Love going round other peoples houses, get loads of ideas then do absolutely nothing with them! I'm hoping partner comes up soon with bacon sandwich or something for me, as I can't leave the office and I'm starving. You see if I was more organised I'd of made something lovely to bring with me, but no I sat with another coffee and watched and the news!

I used to love showing people around the houses when I got the chance when other negs were too busy (was a secretary for an EA) That's why I love doing what I do now - you get to be nosy...:D (I do home staging BTW)
