Of course they were:rolleyes:! - if you're ever up here give me a tinkle, If I get that house (fat chance but 3 bathrooms - one each - that would be heaven) you would be VERY welcome.
.
As long as my sleeping accommodation was on the ground or first floor. I don't think my knees would get me right up to the top...:rotfl:I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

yep both of my older 2 kids has tasted allohol....
admitidly it was some whisky which they than spat out imediatley and vowed never to touch the stuff again......
Oh and when my kid brother came around once they also took a drag from a ciggarette...again a lesson taught well i think
I was allowed to drink as a child (watered-down wine on special occasions, plus swigging from my parents glasses if they left them unattended from quite an early age!), and as a result, didn't think of it as anything special (certainly not worth hanging around in the cold and dark for) as a teenager (although I probably did have a bit more than was good for me at uni).
My dad was given a cigarette on the last sunday of every month when he was about 10 ... until he asked whether he HAD to have it :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Done lots of decluttering today, Managed to get in the nursery and sort through the piles and piles of clothes... got 3 boxes overflowing of clothes DD has grown out of now that can be got rid of. *fling*
Only just finished tea now because we had to bath DD unexpectedly  We're trying to do controlled crying as advised by the health visitor....but DD cried so hard she made herself vomit and it was all in her hair and everythingTo make it worse she'd managed to crawl out of her cot (which is butted up to our bed) and crawl onto my side of the bed and vomited there.....!!
Just watchin most haunted live - interesting because its OH's old workplace, St Georges Hall....he was security guard there and did nights. No one could ever believe he would be there overnight alone as its supposedly really haunted. :rotfl: I went down there few times of a night to see him and have been in the courts/cells in the dark etc and it is very scary...:o0 -

That's me Triker - the minute I even KNOW I'm going to step on a plane, three days of panicking before hand, medicinal brandies at 6am and paper bags to hand to help reduce the hyperventilation. As well as tears from the minute I arrive at the airport. Makes a mockery of 'going on holiday'. Which is why I don't get in an airplane anymore. The stress is just not worth it. I now holiday in places which are accessible by car, train or boat!
Disneyland sounds dire! Can you get your money back for the tickets?
Awww hun, I truly sympathise. I was fine flying but last christmas 2007, we had a terrible flight back from Ireland where we'd been to my friends funeral, the plane pitched and lurched and they turned us back and we had to get on another one. I reckon that and my distressed state anyway has caused my terror. I'm going to look into hynotherapy.
Don't think we've got any chance of any money back, disney do not want to hear bad news stories so they make it nye on pretty much impossible to contact them re complaints.
I have got the CEO's address though so they may e hearing from me soon.;)DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

and Soappie I do like visiting graveyards (one of my little oddities) PM/post names/locations '
My colleagues at work think it's extremely strange that I love to tramp through graveyards. My excuse is that they are peaceful, not often many other people there and the wildlife has to be seen to be believed. I find it very soothing.
Gawd, that probably makes me sound totally do-lally!
I'll PM you..I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

If he decides to close his account then I would suggest setting up a new one first and transferring all the DD/SO's himself. All the banks offer to do this leg work but speaking as one on the inside :rotfl: it does not always go smoothly and when it goes wrong it goes wrong BIG style! Also bear in mind that if you are looking for credit of any description he will need to build a track record with his new provider and hence may ot be offered such good deals in the meantime.
I was interested in this as I'm planning on moving my current account but can't quite work out how to do it... how do I work out when to move my salary (which comes in mid-month) and when to move all the DDs around this? I want to do it because I have ethical issues with my current bank, but am finding myself a bit stuck... I had thought about moving my savings into my old account, then moving my salary, and then moving the DDs over. But I'd appreciate an expert opinion0 -
Going to do some consumer rights digging tonight, DPs phone argh! They've had it back twice now, the first time they damaged it (it was brand new and went back immediately for software problems) he's had it for the total of 2 days in the, over a month? since he got it! The shop called today to say it's back in but they think it needs sending back again as the case (where the repair centre damaged it) still isn't right. He's a bit annoyed. Need to find a copy of his contract with 3 or a copy of someone elses so I can check T&Cs.
All you should need to find is the original purchase receipt, the phone is clearly 'not fit for purpose' and therefore they have a duty to refund/replace, the supplier and not the manufacturer that is.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
