After yesterday and my discovery of a top that I bought in May that hasn't left the bag I thought I had got to my worst point in this room....

    HOWEVER!

    Under the sofa...in a Debenhams bags...with the receipt (22nd March 08) I have discovered....

    wait for it....

    a Tefal omelette pan

Omlettes for tea anyone :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: . Had you realised it was missing? xx

:rotfl: Hadn't even remembered that I'd bought it....obviously didn't need it, although I looked at my omelette pan this morning and thought "I really should replace that as it's got a bit wonky!" So obviously it's a sign!! It's a really nice one too...got one of those hot spot thingies in it and was reduced in the sale (nearly a year ago!!)

Liberty - As for blaming it on the hormones...you're starting to sound like my OH! A while ago I was reading up about what was meant to happen each week during the pregnancy and got to the bit about getting "clumsy and forgetful". His comment was "Have you been pregnant for the last 4 years?!"

I am assuming that DD is DH's from previous marriage and that DS [aged 8] is your son with DH???????
If so, then I believe not only should you be fuming but also DH. In fact, I feel he should have refused to go.

Oh dear, bread emergency! I left the bread to rise in the airing cupboard, promptly forgot about it, and now the carpet in the bottom of the airing cupboard is covered in bread dough!!!!!!!!!!!! Another job for tomorrow methinks! I've sprayed it with carpet cleaner, but I think it'll take a lot of cleaning.... perhaps I'm not cut out for this baking thing.
