Pigpen - good on you and just what I would have done. Especially as they took (stole!) your alcohol. Honestly...I don't know what some people teach their kids is acceptable behaviour nowadays....

I have to admit that I was allowed a drink before I was 18. But it would be a small wine topped up with lemonade under my parents supervision! Just enough that it wasn't quite so exciting to go completely mental on it when I got to 18!!

yep both of my older 2 kids has tasted allohol....

admitidly it was some whisky which they than spat out imediatley and vowed never to touch the stuff again......

Oh and when my kid brother came around once they also took a drag from a ciggarette...again a lesson taught well i think

Well I've done nothing today. I checked on the piglets, put an offer in on a house we want to buy, been out to lunch with the in-laws, bought wool and a crochet hook, bought a loaf tin, been to the butchers (twice) unpacked the dishwasher, put a load of washing on (but haven't hung it up yet - ooops) and just made bread (well, it's in the airing cupboard rising -I hope)

Looks like I've done more than I thought. I've not sat down all day. Guess I'll be doing a lot of cleaning tomorrow!

Believe me...in a dodgy enough public toilet, any girl can stand and pee!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I'll never forget being in a very dodgy toilet in a motorway service station. My dd (about 4 at the time) said in a VERY clear voice "Mummy, why are you weeing standing up?" - all I could hear was tittering coming from all the other cubicles who were obviously doing the same!! xx

Hubbys wages are all to pot just now so cant rely on them. He spoke to his bank and they said someone overseas had cloned his card or something and he went overdrawn and now he has to pay the bank charges for going overdrawn even though its not his fault:mad: Its going to cost him nearly £200 in fees for bounced DD's and OD fees.

That is absolutely ridiculous, they can't impose charges that accrued as the result of fraudulent activity on his account. I would advise him to get on the phone to the complaints, sorry customer concerns department immediately and get someone to sort this out NOW. If they know his card has been cloned then they have to put him back to the position he was in he not had his card cloned. Do not let them fob you off with 'you pay the charges and you will get reimbursed later' They should also offer to write to other companies that have had DD's returned to explain the situation so that you do not have to stand to their charges either.
