He's with Halifax, he got the money back that they took, think it was indonesia. They tried to claim he was liable and told him he had to prove he wasnt there, he doesnt even have a passport !!!!!!! They are not very sympathetic. He is thinking of closing his account with them.

If he decides to close his account then I would suggest setting up a new one first and transferring all the DD/SO's himself. All the banks offer to do this leg work but speaking as one on the inside :rotfl: it does not always go smoothly and when it goes wrong it goes wrong BIG style! Also bear in mind that if you are looking for credit of any description he will need to build a track record with his new provider and hence may ot be offered such good deals in the meantime.

    Hiya
It took a while to catch up with the thread. You gabby lot!
Welcome to the madhouse - therecanonlybeone.

We had a lovely meal at pizza express with £20 off! I noticed lots of people were paying with money off vouchers - that's what I like to see. The children had a great time at the bookshop and managed to get £100 worth of books for £40. Some really good stuff in the sale!

I didn't manage to spend the book vouchers I got for my birthday. I kept picking things up and then thinking that I could get it from the library or charity shop in a few months. I'm either going to think of one really good, special book i'd like to buy or i'm going to give the vouchers to people for birthday presents and add the amount to the 'what i'm allowed to spend on me fund' when I know what I want. This mse way of living is no fun sometimes:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: xx

ZLS - hope you're ok and the jaffa cakes are helping (((hugs))). Is it you or DD that's recovering from surgery? xx

Its me recovering from surgery, I had my gall bladder out. Thanks for the hugs and yup the Jaffa cakes made me feels tuns better.

Thanks, mumoffour77, toots, and any one that I may have missed.

mOZzy, thanks hunny sorry I was not telling people not to mind, can not type when I am in panic.

Sinead is fine made a full recovery it is like nothing ever happened which is always the case with these do's. At first I though it might be the fact that she was cutting Oxygen off to herself but her lips was not blue .

The doctors have never found out the reason why she has these I just have to learn to live with them.

Hugs and well wished to all,

    Zoey

I have been sorting through my desk drawers and have found quite a lot of old advertising postcards. They are all reproductions and a few have a tiny drawing pin hole at the top. They are all left-overs after I bought loads and framed some of them . Anyway I no longer need them so have divided them into lots of 4 and will post free of charge to anyone who wants them. I have posted photos of them on my blog. Obviously if more than one person wants each lot then I will put names into a hat. Contact me if you want one of the lots indicating which one you would like.
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

    Blame it on the hormones!:D
If women can get away with murder due their hormones, then what's a few forgotten shopping bags?;)
