    The three bears

A far more accurate account of the events of that fateful morning...

Baby bear goes downstairs, sits in his small chair at the table.
He looks into his small bowl. It is empty. 'Who's been eating my porridge?' he squeaks.
Daddy Bear arrives at the big table and sits in his big chair. He looks into his big bowl and it is also empty. 'Who's been eating my porridge?!?' he roars.
Mummy Bear puts her head through the serving hatch from the kitchen and yells, 'For God's sake, how many times do I have to go through this with you idiots? It was Mummy Bear who got up first. It was Mummy Bear who woke everyone in the house. It was Mummy Bear who made the coffee. It was Mummy Bear who unloaded the dishwasher from last night and put everything away. It was Mummy Bear who swept the floor in the kitchen. It was Mummy Bear who went out in the cold early morning air to fetch the newspaper and croissants. It was Mummy Bear who set the damn table.
'It was Mummy Bear who walked the bloody dog, cleaned the cat's litter tray, gave them their food, and refilled their water.
'And now that you've decided to drag your sorry bear-asses downstairs and grace Mummy Bear with your grumpy presence, listen carefully, because I'm only going to say this once....

    'I HAVEN'T MADE THE F***ING PORRIDGE YET!!!

  • Friday - Spare rooms and kiddies rooms
    Level One
Strip the bedsheets and wash them!---TD is outside backdoor in porch, need to have kitchen door open to run extension lead, too bloody cold today!!!!
    15 minutes floordrobe clearance-- DONE
    Level Two
Vacuum the floor you can see - probably tomorrow
Fill a binbag with stuff you no longer need and get rid!---more than 2 binbags, have halved the amount of clothes in DS's room, cos he grows too bloody quick!
    HHI .. catch up!!
    Level Three
Wash any curtains/blinds that are in need -have washed my bedroom curtains for first time and they have been there years!:o Now languishing on the floor, need to be ironed and hung back up - Please kick me!
Drag all the tat from under the bed and put it in its rightful places- I have under bed drawers, tat is all hidden away!:D
Straighten books shelves/games etc -Work in progress
    Extras
    1. Wash dirty windows- Wonderwoman I am not!
    2. dust away all the cobwebs and dust-spiders duly evicted!
    3. Wipe the paintwork and grubby sticky hand prints -hey I'm on me knees here, cut me some slack!
As I am having kitchen 'done over' tomorrow I have removed all contents of kitchen drawers/cupboards and stacked everything in the dining room. Its quite depressing looking at the mess that this has made, in what was becoming a slightly tidier home. I am sure it will be worth it when its done! LOL

Thanks all for the birthday wishes!:D
