Hello! I started writing a post nearly 4 hours ago and then lost my broadband and tv  All sorted now so I will try to catch up.

My evening started well as I was home by 4:30 - no traffic jams today :D

But one of my class was taken to hospital from school today so I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for her (for those who remember, it is the same girl as before). Thank you.

I don't think it's necessarily fair to call it the study having thought about it..."dumping ground" would be more accurate.
    Nooooo!!!!
If you call it a study you will think of it like that and expect it to look like a study - if you call it a 'dumping ground' that is what it will become ( and pigpen will get out her fluffy mules).

Thanks so much Liberty and Tooti, you are so kind. I really like the idea of doing things for a few minutes at a time. That's really practical. I do a kind of version of that, doing a bit of something and resting and doing some more, but if I timed myself I would probably get more done. I'm really struggling to cope tonight, so thank you for your kind words. I'll let you know how I'm gettin on!

Flower did warn you about Stormy's thread, it is very moving but for someone like me also comforting to know that there are others who are in similar situations to us. I hate the fact that it happens to anyone and feel saddened when newbies post on there as it means something horrible has happened in their lives. But thanks for reading :)

lil_me the fleeces go to at least age 11 not sure about any larger, but I will look. Would 11 be any good if that is the biggest?

Ragz seen the pics, thanks for persevering with the posting of them :)

    cazzie congrats on your engagement

Skimmed the last couple of pages, so not that up to date with everyone but:

Happy Birthday Liberty and eek....was it Mudbath or Dusty's DS? :o I dont know why I get you two mixed up!

Healing vibes for Froddy's wee lass :A

Re the sleepovers - when DD went to high school she met lots of new friends and invited 6 of them over for a sleepover. This was about 4 weeks after she started, for her 12th birthday. I only knew 1 of the mothers. Not one of the other mothers phoned me up. I ended up phoning them and going over arrangements, giving my mob number, taking theirs. Unbelievable!

Holly - You know your DSD better than any of us. How would your boys be for her? Would they behave ok? Do you have anyone else you could ask?
