You know Oddjob, you really do seem to be an exception in the male of the species - and I mean that in the best way
My DH doesn't like working (but he hates being stuck at home even more
), and has suggested we swap roles. Trouble is I know I'd end up doing everything here myself as he wouldn't have a clue. And as for taking in a pair of trousers :eek: I wouldn't even like to think about how he would go about doing that
LOL Mine would say "take them into where ???"Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Right, as my FB page says tomorrow is conservatory day. I need to get some of it sorted. All this desk talk. Well that is where the old desk is and everything else that I couldn't be bothered to deal with in December
So tomorrow, I will start one box at a time!
Sorry that was a bit blurty outy, had a bit of an emotional evening, something I don't want to go into about the past but I have answers I have wanted for years so that helps, weird isn't it when you get answers you were not expecting.
Haven't done a lot this evening, going to go do the DW now.One day I might be more organised...........

Evening all,
I've not got much further with my list than earlier but dailies have been done.
Well done Toochoosey that room looks amazing.
Happy ( slightly belated) Birthday to Mudbaths DS.
I'm really tired at the moment i could quite happily have fallen asleep loads of times this afternoon. I think i'll have an earlish night.
OH wants to take me away for the night for my Birthday. It would be lovely but would mean leaving Ds1( 11)&Ds2( nearly 3) with my Step daughter who's 17. She babysits for us usually and we've never had any problems, she's really responsible. I'm not sure though about all night. I'm going to have to have a think.

toochoosey - I need your magic touch in my livingroom, how soon can you get here?:D Seriously, that is lovely, well done! (I wouldn't be able to resist adding some designery heavy textured knitted or woven throws...can you tell I spend too much time looking at Ideal Home Mag?)
Bbbrrr...it's freezing here. Why is the computer corner the coldest in the house? I'm going to find my lovely handknitted socks which are really warm and then read for a bit. I did do the vacuuming upstairs, and another load of washing, and sorted a pile of paperwork into categories, and binned a whole load. Over the weekend I'll have a go at dealing with it properly, and then file it.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Hello Flyladies and Oddjob. Thank you all for your Get Well wishes. They seem to have done the trick, I am millions of times better today. I have even done a bit of flying this evening. I have belatedly started to take the Christmas decorations down. My darling little DD flybaby has cleaned the kitchen and hoovered the living room for me.
I was going to settle down and do a bit of knitting. But, I think the dog has eaten my stitch counter and I don't know where I'm up to. So I'll settle down in front of the 'puter instead.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -

arghhhh!!!!!!
I've been rubbish!!!! I have sat on my bottom feeling sorry for myself since 7pm (after work and dog walking), OH called to say he couldn't get home tonight as he still has another days work to do and he's been away since Sunday afternoon - he's self employed so he has to go where the work is and we need the money, admittedly day one of work was slightly ruined due to the ground floor of his dad's house being gutted by fire, but I miss him soooooooooooo much!!!!
Hmmmm reading that back to myself I realise that makes me appear a little selfish - I don't actually have much to whinge about so shall snap out of it and complete todays tasks when I get up tomorrow....
Lounge
Hoover sofa – and stop fluffy pest from sleeping on it!!
Spare room – aaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhh……..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tidy all the tat off the floor & fill a binbag or 6 with stuff I no longer need and get rid!
Vacuum the floor you can see
Wash dirty windows
Dust away all the cobwebs and dust
Wipe the paintwork

Filing - as it is currently all over the floor of the spare room
Extras
Make tasty romantic dinner for when OH gets home
Have lovely long relaxing bubbly bath so that I smell nice when OH comes home and don’t look like I have been cleaning every waking hour since he left on Sunday!!
I'm just sitting down with a small glass of whisky and then I shall take my grumpy self to bed and wake up happy as tomoro is the day my boy WILL be coming home!!!

Hi Holly
Thats really nice of OH but I know what you are saying - you would be worrying and it would maybe spoil your night away! Is there a neighbour who could look in on them or a relative just to put your mind at ease?
I see you have nearly got the 'toddlers' off your list!!!
well done!
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
